The good side of the lockdown is that I got time and chance to look more careful through my photo archive. Sometimes I look for pictures for one photo contest or post or a challenge and find for another. Does this look familiar?
I found these bathing ducks when prepared post #SaturdayMemories ~ Only in May.... No, not like that. First, I saw them in the pond on my whanging around the wonderful island in the middle of Kyiv city.
Healthy living earns its new apologists each day. And I almost sure you in the know. It is quite possible that you visit yoga classes. Am I right? Means, that you know about Asanas more than I do ☺😆 If so, could you help me to distinguish these figures then?
Here we go!
Beginer's level
Starting position: legs slightly apart, feet parallel.
We need to warm-up first. Slowly move your head from one shoulder to another.
Second exercise. Move your head like you're drawing a circle. But don't try too hard. Oh, and make sure you don't have any contraindications. Hope it's not too late yet... oops.
Now, when your neck is nice and long, try to stretch and screw it to the left ... no-no, to the right... or to the left?.. so that the top of your head will reach the left scapula. Done? No? Otherwise, I'd be very surprised.
Okay. I hope you didn't break your neck. Now stretch your left leg slightly in front of you and try to bend down your head to your leg. Keep the balance! Good job ;o)
At the end, just try to relax. Make a deep breath and just tilt your head back for me and let your body follow the head... and a little lower on the exhale ... could you reach your butt? It's all right.
Great job!! Now just close your eyes and breath... Still alive? By the way, did I mention I'm not a trainer?
If you made it through and survived, you move in triumph to ...
Advanced level
Your mission ̶i̶m̶p̶o̶s̶s̶i̶b̶l̶e̶ is to reproduce the following positions. I left them to fit the width of the screen so you can carefully consider every detail. And don't forget to take selfie or no one will believe you.
Thank you so much for your time to view and read my writing. And I do hope you have enough common sense or sense of humor to not ... well, you know. To not blame me :D :-[ As I said, I am not trainer and even not a photographer, not a professional one. But if you enjoyed our virtual workout or are a nature lover you may also like the first part of my journey on that day:
