MANIMOGO Unlimited Samgyupsal
Since we knew that Grace is pregnant, Samgyupsal was not an option anymore. Grace doesn't like even the sound of the name, maybe that is just part of her pregnancy. Moreso, she doesn't like to pay 400+PHP for herself and just eat very little. So, I had accepted already that we would eat samgyupsal maybe after she will give birth.
However, her college friends who became my friends also, kept on inviting Grace to attend their "meet-up and catch-up with friends night" and that they would do it over a samgyupsal restaurant. Finally, Grace was convinced and persuaded to go. And of course, her other half, myself, was included. 😎
We have tried a lot of samgyupsal restaurants already in Cebu City and Mandaue City. We even went to some of them twice or thrice already because we didn't have other good options. But that night, we were going to a new discovered Samgyupsal restaurant located near Ayala Center, Cebu.
Manimogo is a Korean restaurant serving unlimited samgyupsal with Daega. It can be found inside the commercial building of One Montage located in Archbishop Reyes Cebu, Cebu City or near Cebu Business Park and beside Elizabeth Hotel.
It was still four in the afternoon when Grace and I arrived in the place. We doubted if we got the exact address because the building seemed to be not housing a samgyupsal restaurant. But we still took that staircase because we were instructed by Grace's friends to go up.
Fortunately, we got the correct address. Not all Grace's friends were there already so we waited for them for maybe 10 minutes more. So we just talked outside. The area outside is huge so this restaurant can cater a huge number of people for sure.
While we were waiting outside, we took a look of the menu. So we learned that they have 20 side dishes and their unlimited samgyupsal is worth 499 pesos.
We entered the restaurant when Grace's friend arrived and when the crew already set the table for us. I was very excited because I think my last samgyup was 3 or 4 months ago.
We went to the area where the side dishes were displayed. We agreed to get a lot for every side dish so that we could just share on the table. My favorites will always be kimchi, kimbab, and bulgogi.
When we returned to the table, there were already a lot of meat served for us. Grace started cooking (this is always the set-up because I don't cook). Look at that, it looks so yummy!
Grace and her friends had a huge catching-up, so they talked a lot. They discussed about their friends who were absent for this group date, they talked about the upcoming wedding of Abie and Ayie next month, they talked about parenthood, work, and of vourse, Grace's pregnancy! I also butt in from time to time because I have known them since Grace and I officially dated.
We were told by the crew before we entered that they only allow their customers to dine and enjoy the unlimited samgyupsal for two hours (max). I think it was just enough for the whole dining experience.
For this dining experience, I would give it a 10/10 for its good location, spacious restaurant, tasty side dishes, fresh meat, friendly crew, and competitive price.
We asked for the bill, then paid, and went out. There were a lot of people who were eating outside the restaurant. Well, that was understandable and expected because we were satisfied 100%.
We decided to have a groupie outside before we headed to Starbucks. Going with these people always end up with SB. Well, I think that is fine than ending up with beer and other alcohol like how it was before.
So, the squad went to Starbucks quickly. We didn't stay for long because some of us still need to buy inside the mall..
I think that would be all for this post! Thank you for reading! Until next time! Cheers! ☕️☕️
