As a person who is a fan of birthdays and celebrating another year for anyone, I must say that this year I had one of the most special birthdays of my life and it was all thanks to the wonderful friends who accompany me. Like last year, this year I wanted to celebrate my 29th birthday by walking in a beautiful place, so I organized a little trip with one of my friends, who always accompanies me on these adventures, without knowing what would come next. With a secret organization that took more than three weeks, my friends managed to surprise me and make it a great day, full of celebrations and love ❤️.
Como persona fanática de los cumpleaños y de las celebraciones de un año más para quién sea, debo decir que este año tuve uno de los cumpleaños más especiales de mi vida y todo fue gracias a las amigas maravillosas que me acompañan. Al igual que el año pasado, este año quería recibir mis 29 años paseando en un lugar hermoso así que organicé un pequeño viaje con una de mis amigas, que es la que siempre me acompaña en estas aventuras, sin saber lo que vendría después. Con una organización secreta que llevó más de tres semanas, mis amigas lograron sorprenderme y hacer que pase un día genial, lleno de festejos y amor ❤️.
This year I decided to go spend my special day in the city of San Pedro, a town that is 200 km from the center of Buenos Aires and where my friend and I arrived by long-distance train. My idea was to spend my special day, June 2, somewhere beautiful or doing something different, so that day we were walking all day through the town, visiting the waterfront and chatting about life as we always do. The weather was giving us summer weather with the almost arrival of winter, so we stayed out late, walking the streets of the town that is known for the abundance of orange trees in its streets 😃.
Este año decidí ir a pasar mi día especial en la ciudad de San Pedro, un pueblo que queda a 200 km del centro de Buenos Aires y al que mi amiga y yo llegamos en el tren de larga distancia. Mi idea era pasar mi día especial, 2 de Junio, en algún lugar hermoso o haciendo algo diferente, así que ese día estuvimos caminando todo el día por el pueblo, visitando la costanera y charlando de la vida como hacemos siempre. El clima nos estaba regalando un clima de verano en la casi llegada del invierno, así que nos quedamos hasta tarde afuera, recorriendo las calles del pueblo que es conocido por la abundancia de árboles de naranjas en sus calles 😃.

When we finally got back to the hostel where we were staying, my friend and I got ready to go out later to a bar. Despite the fact that our initial idea was to have a small celebration, I always dress well on my birthday: it is my special day and of course I will treat it as such. I believe a lot in energies and if I'm in a good mood, I feel that my surroundings accompany me and give back. So while we were getting ready to go out, we were listening to some music in the hostel room, hurrying up because it was already a little late for dinner time 💕.
Cuando finalmente regresamos al hostel en donde estábamos hospedadas, mi amiga y yo nos preparamos para salir más tarde a un bar. A pesar de que nuestra idea inicial era hacer una celebración pequeña, yo siempre me visto bien el día de mi cumpleaños: es mi día especial y por supuesto lo voy a tratar como tal. Creo mucho en las energías y si estoy de buen humor, siento que mi alrededor me acompaña y retribuye. Así que mientras nos preparabamos para salir, escuchábamos un poco de música en la habitación del hostel, apurandonos porque ya se nos hacía un poco tarde para la hora de la cena 💕.
BUT while I was very busy fixing myself in front of the mirror, I hear the door open, and who were they? My other crazy friends HAHAHA. Five of them had traveled there and they brought a cake and balloons, and they began to sing the birthday song for me. At that moment I couldn't help but cry because the surprise they gave me was invaluable, I swear that at no time did I think they could go there since it was quite far, but they still did it and everything was beautiful ❤️.
PERO mientras yo estaba muy ocupada arreglándome enfrente del espejo, escucho que abren la puerta ¿y quiénes eran?: las locas de mis otras amigas JAJAJA. Cinco de ellas habían viajado hasta allá y traían una torta y globos, y empezaron a cantarme la canción de cumpleaños. En ese momento no pude hacer más que llorar porque la sorpresa que me dieron fue invaluable, juro que en ningún momento pensaba que ellas podían ir hasta allá ya que era bastante lejos, pero aún así lo hicieron y todo fue hermoso ❤️.
What happened is that during all that time that Sofía and I planned our trip to San Pedro, she also invited my other friends to come who would arrive on the night of my birthday, just after finishing their work days. I know that organizing a trip like this with the schedules that each one has would have been very difficult, in addition to the money needed to go, but they handled it very well to be able to go spend my day with me and also stay the weekend with we. Everything was great and the surprise factor was a great extra in this celebration, I had never had a birthday like this before ❤️.
Lo que pasó es que durante todo ese tiempo que Sofía y yo planeamos nuestro viaje hasta San Pedro, ella también invitó a venir a mis otras amigas que llegarían la noche de mi cumpleaños, justo después de terminar sus jornadas de trabajo. Yo sé que organizar un paseo como este con los horarios que cada una tiene hubiese sido muy difícil, además del dinero necesario para ir, pero ellas lo manejaron muy bien como para poder ir a pasar mi día conmigo y también quedarse el fin de semana con nosotras. Todo estuvo genial y el factor sorpresa fue un gran extra en este festejo, nunca antes había tenido un cumpleaños así ❤️.

I know these girls a lot and I know how gossipy they are, so what surprised me the most was their ability to keep the secret without me suspecting anything. During all this time they asked me what we were going to do for my birthday, they asked me about the trip, where I would go, how many days, etc., all while they already knew that they were also going to be with me. And all this surprise was also organized with the complicity of the hostel owners, who took care not to tell me anything about the arrival of my friends later 😃.
Yo conozco mucho a estas chicas y sé lo chismosas que son, por lo que más me sorprendió fue su capacidad de poder guardar el secreto sin que yo sospechara nada. Durante todo este tiempo ellas me preguntaban qué íbamos a hacer para mi cumpleaños, me preguntaron sobre el viaje, que a donde iría, que cuantos días, etc, todo mientras ellas ya sabían que también iban a ir a estar conmigo. Y toda esta sorpresa también fue organizada con la complicidad de los dueños del hostel, quienes se encargaron de no decirme nada sobre la llegada de mis amigas más tarde 😃.
When my friends arrived we were now a total of 7 people so we had to move to a bigger room where we all fit. In case you don't know, a hostel is a style of accommodation where the rooms are shared, so they had to give us a room with enough beds for everyone. When we changed places, there was also everything decorated with balloons and there was food, arrangements that the girls were making before appearing on the scene. Everything was great, and I still couldn't believe how they could keep the secret for so long hahaha ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Cuando mis amigas llegaron ahora éramos un total de 7 personas así que tuvimos que mudarnos a una habitación más grande en donde entraramos todas. Por si no saben, un hostel es un estilo de alojamiento en donde las habitaciones son compartidas, así que ellos tuvieron que darnos una habitación con camas suficientes para todas. Cuando nos cambiamos de lugar, ahí también estaba todo decorado con globos y había comida, arreglos que las chicas estuvieron haciendo antes de aparecer en escena. Todo fue genial, y yo seguía sin creer cómo pudieron guardar el secreto tanto tiempo jajaja ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
In the end, this dinner outing was just an excuse to kill time until the girls arrived, so when we were all together we were able to have dinner together, play some music and have a few drinks. Luckily the owners of the hostel we chose were very cool and they let us hold the celebration there without any problems, and they also shared a moment with us, as well as giving me pizza and a few beers. It was all so much fun, better than I had planned for that day and I felt truly special. It was a beautiful way to start my 29th birthday, surrounded by love and the people who appreciate me and who came all the way to be with me ❤️.
Finalmente la tal salida a cenar solo era una excusa para hacer tiempo hasta que llegaran las chicas, así que cuando estuvimos todas reunidas pudimos cenar juntas, poner algo de música y tomar algunos tragos. Por suerte los dueños del hostel que elegimos eran muy buena onda y nos dejaron hacer la celebración ahí sin problemas, y ellos también compartieron un momento con nosotras, además de regalarme pizza y unas cervezas. Todo estuvo muy divertido, mejor de lo que había planeado para ese día y me sentí verdaderamente especial. Fue una hermosa manera de empezar mis 29, rodeada de amor y de las personas que me aprecian y que hicieron todo ese viaje para estar conmigo ❤️.
My 28th birthday celebration at Iguazú Falls had set the bar very high for this year, but this was definitely much better. These friends that life gave me were the best gift I could have had for my 29th birthday. They showed me that they love me very much and that their unconditional love was able to move them there, to be with me and toast to a new stage full of things. new. Mi festejo de cumple 28 en las Cataratas del Iguazú había dejado la vara muy alta para este año, pero esto definitivamente fue mucho mejor. Estas amigas que me dió la vida fueron el mejor regalo que pude haber tenido para mis 29. Ellas me demostraron que me quieren mucho y que su amor incondicional fue capaz de moverlas hasta allá, para estar conmigo y brindar por una nueva etapa llena de cosas nuevas. Espero que nunca falten en mi vida y doy gracias por haber empezado este nuevo año de la mejor manera. Salud ❣️!
