Día Del Padre A Lo Padre. En muchas partes del mundo, todos los tercer domingo de junio se celebra el Día del Padre; y específicamente el 16 de junio celebramos con mucho amor a todos los padres que aún están presentes y también a los ausentes, porque el amor por un ser querido no se acaba jamás. Realmente en muchas ocasiones decimos que no tenemos tiempo para decirle a un ser querido que lo amamos y cuando ya es demasiado tarde, nos arrepentimos de ello. Este día y como todos los días, se debe expresar esa sensación de cariño y amor; no es necesario esperar un día emblemático para ello, porque desde mi punto de vista es algo que no tendría sentido.

En estos momentos mi padre está sufriendo un problema de salud que de cierta manera se ha agudizado; unos días está bien, otros regular y otros mal. Pero hemos tratado de siempre darle ánimos, lo invitamos a salir en familia para ver si así mejora un poco, porque sabemos que el ánimo puede cambiar cuando estamos todos juntos y compartimos momentos únicos. Como siempre, nosotros en casa disfrutamos de cualquier celebración con momentos mágicos llenos de familia, buena comida y mucha alegría; este día no fue la excepción, aunque teníamos en mente salir de casa para celebrar a nuestro padre, yo también soy papá; sin embargo, la intención era que el centro de atracción fuera mi papá, él se merece esto y mucho más.

Father's Day To The Father. In many parts of the world, every third Sunday of June we celebrate Father's Day; and specifically on June 16 we celebrate with much love all the fathers who are still present and also the absent ones, because love for a loved one never ends. Many times we really say that we do not have time to tell a loved one that we love him/her and when it is too late, we regret it. This day and like every day, we should express that feeling of affection and love; it is not necessary to wait for an emblematic day to do so, because from my point of view it would be meaningless.

At the moment my father is suffering from a health problem that in a certain way has worsened; some days he is fine, others regular and others bad. But we have always tried to encourage him, we invite him to go out as a family to see if he improves a little, because we know that the mood can change when we are all together and share unique moments. As always, we at home enjoy any celebration with magical moments full of family, good food and lots of joy; this day was no exception, although we had in mind to leave the house to celebrate our father, I am also a dad; however, the intention was that the center of attraction was my dad, he deserves this and much more.

Cuando llegamos a casa encontremos a mi papá dormido porque no había pasado buena noche; se levantó, pero tenía mucho dolor de cabeza. Aunque ya habíamos planificado esta salida, por un momento pensamos quedarnos en casa, pedir comida y disfrutar todos juntos. Papá se tomó una pastilla y dijo que le dieran tiempo a ver si el dolor se calmaba, pero igual pensamos en no salir así se sintiera mejor porque con el agite del trayecto se podría sentir mal. Bueno, al cabo de un rato se levantó, se vistió e insistió en salir; todos juntos nos fuimos entonces a almorzar como estaba planificado y nos dirigimos a restaurante chino La Gran Fortuna; este es un local muy visitado por todos nosotros.

Antes de pedir la comida estuvimos conversando entre todos, hablamos de muchas cosas y al cabo de un rato se acercó la chica para atendernos. Lo cierto es que disfrutar en familia es lo máximo y no tiene comparación, igualmente recordamos a nuestros familiares que están lejos de nosotros, por lo que tenemos mucha fe de que algún día estarán de nuevo a nuestro lado. Sabemos que cada día que pasa en algún momento se puede perder la fé; y aunque muchas veces decaemos, el amor por la familia puede romper todos esos sentimientos negativos, mi deseo siempre será que la familia esté unida y lo deseo también para todas las familias que estan en las mismas condiciones. Seres que tienen varios años que no pueden compartir días especiales con sus padres y eso debe ser muy duro, claro que es duro.

When we got home we found my dad asleep because he hadn't had a good night; he got up, but he had a headache. Although we had already planned this outing, for a moment we thought we would stay home, order food and enjoy it all together. Dad took a pill and said to give him time to see if the pain would subside, but we still thought about not going out even if he felt better because he might feel sick with the agitation of the trip. Well, after a while he got up, got dressed and insisted on going out; we all went to have lunch as planned and went to La Gran Fortuna Chinese restaurant; this is a very visited place by all of us.

Before ordering the food we were chatting among all of us, we talked about many things and after a while the girl came to serve us. The truth is that enjoying with the family is the best and has no comparison, we also remember our relatives who are far away from us, so we have great faith that someday they will be back by our side. We know that every day that goes by at some point we can lose faith; and although many times we fall, the love for the family can break all those negative feelings, my wish will always be that the family is united and I wish it also for all the families that are in the same conditions. Beings that have several years that cannot share special days with their parents and that must be very hard, of course it is hard.

Bueno, en el restaurante cada quien quería algo especial y así lo hicieron, unos querían arroz chino que es lo tradicional; otros costillas asadas y otros costillas picantes; también fueron complacidos. No podrían faltar los famosos chop suey con su agregado de pollo, también fueron complacidos y por último el lomito en plato caliente no podía faltar en la mesa. Sabíamos que papá no sentía muy bien y eso se notaba, la comida llegó rápido y comenzamos a comer para tratar de terminar rápido e irnos a casa. Así lo hicimos, terminamos de comer pedí la cuenta y nos fuimos poco a poco a casa.

Lo cierto es que a pesar de las circunstancias papá disfrutó aunque sea un poco y eso nos llena de alegría, porque deseamos siempre darle las cosas en vida para que se sienta bien. En casa toda la familia seguirá tratando de que papá se sienta mucho mejor y siga avanzando para que vuelva a ser el mismo de antes. Por lo pronto, espero que todos los padres hayan pasado un día especial, un día diferente y un día lleno de mucho amor y familia. Saludos y nos vemos pronto.

Well, in the restaurant everyone wanted something special and so they did, some wanted Chinese rice which is traditional; others wanted grilled ribs and others spicy ribs; they were also pleased. We could not miss the famous chop suey with the addition of chicken, they were also pleased and finally the tenderloin on a hot plate could not be missing at the table. We knew that Dad was not feeling very well and it showed, the food arrived quickly and we started to eat to try to finish quickly and go home. So we did, we finished eating, I asked for the bill and we went home little by little.

The truth is that in spite of the circumstances dad enjoyed even a little bit and that fills us with joy, because we always want to give him things in life so that he feels well. At home, the whole family will continue to try to make Dad feel much better and continue to make progress so that he can go back to his old self.
