Polvoron become one of my most favorite after my late sister brought a polvoron from Goldilocks and with assorted flavor -as a pasalubong for us after coming home from Lipa. She works in Lipa and she always have Polvoron as pasalubong for us. I can seriously eat 10 small pack of it with that big classic flavor and will never get tired of it. And because my sister sadly left for good, receiving a pasalubong of Polvoron also stops. But seriously, its one of the good and happy memories I have with her. I just wish she's still with us, (╥﹏╥)...
But anyway, I will talk about Polvoron again because... -WHY NOT? LOL. Polvoron is my favorite so you can expect to see more of it but, of course, every time that I will share about it, it will be different because I have the plan to try making other flavors of Polvoron. I started with the classic and peanut flavor right? And now, I will share another one but Cookies and Cream -wait, this is actually not cookies and cream because its fillings is also chocolate. So I guess it is just Polvoron -Chocolate flavors but with a twist coz I will also use oat cereal in here.
So here are the ingredients, leftover flour, two sachet of sandwich cookies -chocolate flavor, this one is from Dali and a Dali brand so its way cheaper than oreo -but, it still taste good. Then I had here two 33g of powdered milk but I change ny mind of the last minute and change on pack for Energen Milk, this is the oat cereal breakfast drink by the way. But we love to "papak" ir eat it without pouring it on hot water, lol haha. The one and half tablespoon of sugar, one tablespoon of margarine and a pinch of salt.
I won't get a detailed photos of it because I already share this here. So we'll start by roasting our flour. This is not even APF but just a normal and easy to find flour everywhere. We need to roast it until it turns brown without stopping on mixing it. We don't one to burn it no? It can take 8 to 15 minutes depends on the level of the fire. But I used low heat here to cook it thoroughly.conce it turns lightly brown, I dig a lil hole in the middle and put one tablespoon of margarine to melt it. At this point I already turn off the gas here.
Once the margarine melted, I mix it with the flour and once I saw it mixed perfectly in flour, I then put the powdered milk, the brown sugar and the crushed chocolate cookies. And I mix it again and again, with a lil pause because gosh, it's so nakakangalay man!
And after 123748483920 years! Its finally done. I get a spoonful of it to ask Mama about its taste. For me it is already good but I am not sure which flavor is more noticeable, the chocolate from the cookies or the taste of energen milk? So I had to ask Mamabels. And my, I got a satisfying reaction from her. She said it taste good and she can taste the chocolate from the cookies. So I guess it is a success? As for me, I really live the crunch from the oat cereal. Its like it also has a Pinipig in it. Nyomnyom ╰( ・ ᗜ ・ )➝

Now, talking more about sweet and family, we received chocolates from Kuya DB and this is one of them. A chocolatey goodness!
Its made in germany chocolate and after having a bite, I instantly fall in love with it haha. I mean, it is really that good. It really melts in your mouth and the texture, gahhh! Delicious!
And kook at the inside ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ. I am really happy that Kuya DB gave some to us. I get to enjoy a chocolate that we don't usually eat. So sweet of them to always save some for their relatives here in Mindoro.
