Art at home: This is how I have decorated my spaces

¡Feliz mitad de semana! Hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes mi participación en la iniciativa Arte en casa de esta linda comunidad en unión con Hive account@hivearte y Hive account@liketu en la cual les mostraré algunos de esos elementos decorativos que tengo en casa y que hacen que ciertos espacios luzcan un poco mejor. Antes de comenzar agradezco la invitación de mis amigas Hive account@valenpba, Hive account@jennyzer y Hive account@yagelybr y a su vez aprovecho de invitar a Hive account@maeugenia, Hive account@creacioneslelys y Hive account@nathyortiz a unirse. Para comenzar debo decir que aunque me gusta mucho hacer manualidades y decorar todo a mi paso no tengo mucho en casa para lo cual decorar en casa, ya que me he dedicado en su mayoría a realizar manualidades con fines diferentes a ello, sin embargo, hay algunas cositas que si he utilizado para algunos espacios y aquí se los muestro.

¡Happy midweek! Today I come to share with you my participation in the Arte en casa initiative of this beautiful community in conjunction with Hive account@hivearte and Hive account@liketu in which I will show you some of those decorative elements that I have at home and that make certain spaces look a little better. Before I begin, I would like to thank my friends Hive account@valenpba, Hive account@jennyzer and Hive account@yagelybr for the invitation and, in turn, I would like to invite Hive account@maeugenia, Hive account@creacioneslelys and Hive account@nathyortiz to join. To begin with, I must say that although I really like to do crafts and decorate everything in my path, I don't have much at home to decorate at home, since I have dedicated myself mostly to crafts for different purposes, however, there are some little things that I have used for some spaces and here I show them.

➤ Florero decorativo | Decorative vase.

Este es uno de los pocos elementos decorativos que tengo en mi sala y de los que más me gusta, se trata de un lindo florero elaborado con una botella de vidrio forrada con pabilo y decorada con cinta y foami, para complementarla le coloqué unas flores de cartulina y le quedaron perfectas, esto lo hice hace mucho tiempo y desde entontes la coloqué en mi sala, específicamente en el centro de la mesa del comedor haciendo que se vea más lindo ese espacio y ya la mesa no está vacía con el florero allí.

_This is one of the few decorative elements that I have in my living room and one of the ones that I like the most, it is a beautiful vase made with a glass bottle lined with a wick and decorated with ribbon and foam, to complement it I placed some flowers of cardboard and they were perfect, I did this a long time ago and since then I placed it in my living room, specifically in the center of the dining room table making that space look more beautiful and the table is no longer empty with the vase there. _

➤ Honguitos con material de provecho | Mushrooms with useful material.

Se trata de unos hongos decorativos que elaboré con cartón que luego pinté y decoré, me gustó tanto que lo coloqué en una mesita de madera en una esquina de mi sala la cual tiene un mantel tejido, pero como se veía un poco vacío decidí colocar algo más para acompañar a los honguitos y recogí algunas piedras, las pinté y las coloqué dentro de un pequeño recipiente de vidrio.

It is about some decorative mushrooms that I made with cardboard that I later painted and decorated, I liked it so much that I placed it on a small wooden table in a corner of my living room which has a woven tablecloth, but since it looked a bit empty I decided to place something more to accompany the little mushrooms and I picked up some stones, painted them and placed them inside a small glass container.

➤ Mini estante de madera | Mini wooden shelf.

Este pequeño estante ha sido uno de los tantos premios que he ganado en concursos de Instagram. Tiene ya 4 años conmigo y lo gané justo poco después de haberme mudado a mi actual casa, no teníamos casi nada y haber ganado eso me emocionó mucho porque era lo primero que tenía para medio decorar la casa. En ese estante he colocado varias cosas pero actualmente está como se ve en la foto, las 2 copas las gané en un concurso junto con una botella de vino, pero ya esta última no existe, esas copas son como una reliquia para mí y las coloqué allí para exhibirlas. Junto a ellas está mi taza de Hive y Liketu que gané hace poco en una iniciativa, en la parte de abajo está una mini guitarra que es una réplica de la guitarra eléctrica de Daniel y sirvió para decorar, por ultimo esta una linda rosa roja conservada que por cierto también gané (junto con las copas y el vino) la cual se supone que debe durar unos 5 o 6 años intacta porque luego de ese tiempo se comienzan a desprender sus pétalos, es algo así como la de la bella y la bestia. En cierta forma, este vendría siendo “el estante de los premios”.

This little shelf has been one of the many prizes I've won in Instagram contests. It has been with me for 4 years now and I won it just shortly after I moved into my current house, we had almost nothing and having won that made me very excited because it was the first thing I had to half decorate the house. On that shelf I have placed several things but it is currently as seen in the photo, I won the 2 glasses in a contest along with a bottle of wine, but the latter no longer exists, those glasses are like a relic to me and I placed them there to display them. Next to them is my cup of Hive and Liketu that I recently won in an initiative, at the bottom is a mini guitar that is a replica of Daniel's electric guitar and served to decorate, Finally, there is a beautiful preserved red rose that I also won (along with the glasses and the wine) which is supposed to last 5 or 6 years intact because after that time its petals begin to fall off, it's something like that like beauty and the beast. In a certain way, this would be "the prize shelf".

➤ Marco para aire acondicionado | Frame for air conditioning.

Aunque no es un adorno como tal incluyo esto en mi lista ya que en cierto modo lo hice como decoración, pues, no me gustaba como se veían las orillas del aire acondicionado y se me ocurrió hacer un marco para el con cartón que luego forré con papel adhesivo con estampado de madera, eso sin duda le dio un toque diferente tanto al aire acondicionado como a mi sala.

Although it is not an ornament as such, I include this in my list since in a way I did it as decoration, well, I did not like how the edges of the air conditioning looked and it occurred to me to make a frame for it with cardboard that I later covered with adhesive paper with a wood print, that undoubtedly gave a different touch to both the air conditioning and my living room.

➤ Girasoles de cartulina | Cardboard sunflowers

Por ultimo están estos hermosos girasoles de cartulina que elaboré para mi cumpleaños 25 el cual decoré con esa temática, luego de eso utilicé los girasoles para decorar una pared de una de las habitaciones de mi casa, esa en la que tengo casi todas mis cosas de manualidades y esa pared fue perfecta para ello, además también me había quedado la letra “M” en tamaño grande de ese mismo cumpleaños y decidí aprovecharla en la misma decoración.

Finally, there are these beautiful cardboard sunflowers that I made for my 25th birthday which I decorated with that theme, after that I used the sunflowers to decorate a wall in one of the rooms in my house, the one where I have almost all my things crafts and that wall was perfect for it, I also had the letter "M" in large size from that same birthday and I decided to use it in the same decoration.

Siento que no es mucho lo que tengo para decorar mi casa, no tengo cuadros ni cosas más bonitas o elaboradas, sin embargo, me gusta como se ve con lo que hay, pero debo decirles que eso es solo por ahora, porque en diciembre si convierto mi sala en la aldea de Santa con tantos adornos que coloco por todos lados y no hay espacio que no decore (en su mayoría con adornos elaborados por mi) pero eso es algo que les mostraré cuando llegue la época navideña.

I feel that I don't have much to decorate my house, I don't have pictures or more beautiful or elaborate things, however, I like how it looks with what I have, but I must tell you that this is only for now, because in December yes I turn my living room into Santa's village with so many decorations that I put everywhere and there is no space that I don't decorate (mostly with decorations made by me) but that is something that I will show you when the Christmas season arrives.
