Compra Obligada para Proteger mi Aire. Cada día los cortes y fluctuaciones de electricidad en nuestro país son más graves. Justamente estos días la luz se fue 4 veces; dos veces en la mañana y dos veces en la noche, realmente esto es insoportable y nuestros equipos sufren como no tienen una idea. Ahora; en casa, específicamente en la habitación principal tenemos un aire tipo split y lógicamente lo tenemos conectado a un protector. La cuestión fue; que en uno de esos cortes el protector sufrió aparentemente una avería; cuando llegó la luz, el protector se portó de una manera rara, pero al cabo de un tiempo volvió a funcionar.

Cuando nuevamente el servicio eléctrico fue interumpido y luego llegó la conexión; el protector nuevamente encendió, pero ahora encendía el bombillo rojo de baja tensión, rápidamente encendió el naranja de ciclo de espera y muy rápido encendió el color verde de voltaje normal; sin embargo, no se aguantaba en normal y volvía a ciclo de espera y así se mantenía en el círculo vicioso por lo que el aire jamás iba a arrancar. Lo mandé a revisar y resulta que tenía varios condensadores quemados, la reparación tenía un costo similar a un protector nuevo, así que me dispuse a comprar uno nuevo.

When the power was cut off again and then reconnected, the protector turned on again, but now the low voltage red light came on, quickly followed by the orange standby light, and then very quickly the green normal voltage light. However, it couldn't stay on normal and went back to standby, and so it remained in a vicious cycle, meaning that the air conditioner would never start. I had it checked, and it turned out that several capacitors were burned out. The repair cost was similar to the price of a new protector, so I decided to buy a new one.

Bueno; aquí en Cumaná estado Sucre Venezuela, tenemos un centro comercial donde están dos de mis tiendas favoritas para adquirir los equipos que necesitamos en casa; así que sin pensarlo dos veces, nos fuimos al centro comercial y visitamos la tienda Mundo Total; allí pueden encontrar ropa, calzado, artículos de hogar, electrodomésticos y lógicamente protectores de voltaje para proteger nuestros equipos; en términos generales, podemos encontrar de todo.

Estando en la tienda; nos fuimos al área de ferretería, específicamente a la sección de los tomacorrientes y protectores. De inmediato observamos los protectores de 220v que es especial para nuestro aire y ese fue el que escogimos por un costo de 25$ y 3 años de garantía; bueno, necesitamos el equipo, ese fue el más económico que encontramos y es sumamente parecido al que se dañó.

Al abrir el empaque; encontramos solo el protector, una lámina con las características del equipo, para que equipos funciona y como usarlo. Vemos que es para equipos de 220 V; por otra parte, observamos 4 indicadores que nos dicen cuando el voltaje está normal, el ciclo de espera, sobre voltaje y bajo voltaje.

Al bajar un poco; vemos que el equipo tiene un suiche para encender y apagar el protector. Al lado vemos la toma para conectar el enchufe del aire acondicionado. Al darle la vuelta al equipo; el protector tiene un selector de voltaje el cual podemos adaptar de acuerdo al voltaje que existe en ese momento. Además de ello; existe una etiqueta que indica el voltaje nominal, máximo y mínimo, también vemos que el tiempo de espera es de 3 minutos y puede cubrir una carga máxima de 20 amperios. Finalmente; se presenta el conectar que se enchufa en el tomacorriente; un equipo súper necesario para proteger los equipos, lo compré porque mi aire estaba desprotegido; saludos y nos vemos pronto.
