Hello Hiveworld,
the last weekend I was allowed to spend two nights in an abandoned old paper mill. They were magical nights with great light painters like Sven Gerard and Dennis Ryubär. It was really a lot of fun. Thanks!
On the big area you could find something new at every corner and behind every door. In this shot I could spot a light anomaly.😉
Gear/settings:
f/7.1 | 12 mm | ISO 100 | 300 sec. exposure time
First i created the purple "Anomaly" with a plexy rod on Tripod 1. Lens cap on and swapped to Tripod 2 in front of the huge papermaschine. Lens cap off and lit the inside of the maschine with a green torch.
The image was taken in several steps, during a longexposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
A great weekend and an interesting location with many possibilities. I will return to this location again, there is still so much to discover.
Have a creative weekend

What is lightpainting?
Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
