Dia de estiramientos para las articulaciones
Joint Stretching Day
Hello to the entire #Hive and #SWC community! I hope all the athletes who practice calisthenics are feeling their energy levels up and that their workouts continue to get stronger. Today I want to share with you how my training day went, which focused primarily on stretching, working my biceps, triceps, forearms, and shoulders.
I started by using resistance bands, a very versatile implement that allowed me to do small joint conditioning exercises I mentioned earlier. Then we moved on to the barbell, performing specific movements to stretch my shoulders and triceps, as shown in the photos accompanying this post. I then added a dumbbell to warm up my biceps, performing controlled bicep curls to properly activate the muscle before any major effort.
This workout was simple but very necessary. I'm coming off an intense week of performing combos and static exercises, something I've mentioned in past posts. Therefore, dedicating a day to stretching and conditioning is essential. Warming up and stretching properly not only helps your body be in optimal condition, but also prepares and conditions your joints and muscles for any other type of workout. It's also one of the best ways to prevent injuries and maintain your long-term performance. In short, it was a relaxing but productive day, where more than just seeking strength or endurance, I sought to give my body the care it needs.
I thank you for taking the time to read my post, I hope you like it and follow me for more.
