Greetings to the entire #hive and #swc community! A big hug to all the athletes who continue to train with discipline in this beautiful sport of calisthenics. Today I want to share a different, but equally important, experience: conscious rest. Last night, around 8 p.m., I went to my best friend's house,

was there too. The idea wasn't to have a hard workout, but rather to relax, breathe, stretch... to connect with my body from a different perspective. I was feeling quite stressed, both physically and mentally, due to university, work, and the intense workouts of the previous days.
I told them how I was feeling, and that's when my friend gave me some wise advice: "Don't train today, just stretch. Listen to your body." So that's what I did. We started with stretches for the wrists, shoulders, back, and hips. It wasn't just a physical movement; it felt like releasing accumulated tension, as if each stretch lifted a weight off my shoulders. I realized something that's always said, but rarely practiced: rest is also part of training. Sometimes, growth doesn't come from constant effort, but from knowing when to stop, breathe, and reconnect.
So, there you have it, everyone: listen to your body. Rest isn't weakness, it's wisdom. And in that pause, there is also progress.
