Once they started, they began with the semi-pros first. There weren't many of them, so we didn't have to wait long. When the semi-pros finished, it was the amateurs' turn. There were three rounds: the first was a qualifying round, since there were six of us and they would eliminate two to go to the second round. I qualified; I don't remember my combo exactly, but I qualified.
Then it was my turn for the versus round. My combo there was a front lever, then a 360, then a 180, and another 180. Then I went to the parallel bars and did another front lever, and I did a back lever with a press. That won me the match. After my partner finished his match, he faced me to decide first place. Unfortunately, when I went to do my combo, I fell and lost my focus, which led to me losing.
I ended up with second place, but oh well, the competition was friendly, since it was designed so that those who have never competed could experience what a competition is like and see more clearly what they need to improve. I got second place because I lack the stamina to hold the combos longer; I'll train that.
