Les cuento que mi estadía por Valencia no solo fue de competencia, sino también de un turismo calisténico brutal. Después de la adrenalina del Only Static Champions 3, tuve la suerte de quedarme un día extra para hacer un break y conocer un poco. ¡Y vaya que valió la pena!
En la tarde me guiaron a una ruta inesperada que arrancó en el Museo de la Cultura de Carabobo. Para serles sincero, creo que esta es la primera vez que visito un museo de arte. Apenas entramos, fue un shock de piezas: había arte de casi todo tipo. Era tanta la variedad que era imposible asimilar la idea o el mensaje de cada artista. Al final, me limité a lo que de verdad me llamó la atención, que fue una escultura de una pantera increíble hecha solo con formas geométricas.
Y como no podía ser de otra manera, saliendo del museo, me animé a dejar un recuerdo: ¡una full maltese justo en la entrada! Después de reposar un rato, conseguimos transporte directo a un lugar que no conocía: el Parque Draculandia. Sí, leyeron bien, “Draculandia”.
Tan solo al llegar, me sorprendió lo gigante y variado que es el sitio. Tiene una laguna preciosa con puentes muy cool. Luego de caminar, llegamos a la zona recreativo-deportiva y, claro, ahí no podía faltar el despliegue de las habilidades: en este caso, con un Front Lever para la foto.
Para seguir la diversión, nos animamos a jugar un poco de paintball, algo que no hacía desde hace muchísimos años. Y para cerrar con broche de oro la jornada, terminamos jugando voleibol hasta que literalmente tocó la hora de que cerraran el parque.
Sin dudas, este recorrido post-competencia fue de los mejores que he tenido en mucho tiempo.

I'll tell you that my stay in Valencia wasn't just about competition, but also about some intense calisthenics tourism. After the adrenaline rush of Only Static Champions 3, I was lucky enough to stay an extra day to take a break and do some sightseeing. And boy, was it worth it!
In the afternoon, they took me on an unexpected tour that started at the Carabobo Culture Museum. To be honest, I think this is the first time I've ever been to an art museum. As soon as we walked in, I was shocked by the variety of pieces: there was art of almost every kind. There was so much variety that it was impossible to take in the idea or message of each artist. In the end, I limited myself to what really caught my attention, which was an incredible sculpture of a panther made only with geometric shapes.
And, naturally, upon leaving the museum, I decided to leave a memento: a full Maltese right at the entrance! After resting for a while, we arranged direct transportation to a place I had never been before: Draculandia Park. Yes, you read that correctly, "Draculandia."
As soon as I arrived, I was surprised by how huge and varied the place is. It has a beautiful lake with very cool bridges. After walking around, we arrived at the recreation and sports area, and of course, I couldn't resist showing off my skills: in this case, with a front lever for the photo.
To keep the fun going, we decided to play a little paintball, something I hadn't done in many years. And to end the day on a high note, we ended up playing volleyball until it was literally time for the park to close.
Without a doubt, this post-competition tour was one of the best I've had in a long time.
