This evening, on my way back home, I decided to buy some oranges since it had been a long time since I last had them. Honestly, I bought them just for myself, forgetting that I had siblings waiting at home. But the moment I got back, I realized that I couldn’t enjoy the oranges alone I had to share them.
The funny part was that despite being the one who purchased the oranges, I was also the one who had to peel them. My siblings only role was to eat and dispose, while I did all the work. As I peeled the oranges, many thoughts ran through my mind.

I am the eldest among my siblings, yet here I was serving them first. That experience reminded me that true leadership comes with responsibility and service.leadership will test two values constantly patience and humility. The patience to listen and accommodate and the humility to put others first are what makes leaders respected and not feared.
Many people think leadership is all about power, issuing commands, or being feared. But in reality, leadership is about patience, humility, and having the best interest of those you lead at heart. A good leader serves and is loved and respected, while a bad leader rules harshly and is despised. Leadership is not a crown to be worn but a responsibility to be lived.
Self leadership is also important, before leading others, one must first lead themselves, selfcontrol, self-discipline and selflessness are the foundation, without that managing others can be overwhelming.Sometimes, when I think about starting my own family one day, I feel a shiver run down my spine. Leadership is not an easy task—managing others requires even more effort when you are still learning to manage yourself. That is why I believe I need to keep working on myself, to be more patient and selfless, so that I can truly lead well when the time comes.
Thanks for your engagement and am looking forward to seeing your take own thought about good leadership
