The Santo Domingo Asylum for the Elderly, located in Villa de Cura, Aragua State, is a non-profit institution, founded in 1902 by Mother Maria de San Jose by order of Father Jose Manuel Jimenez, and also at first served as a hospital and asylum, because given the number of wounded by the wars of that time it was necessary to have a place to care for that large number of wounded. Many years have passed, as well as governments for our country and today we can see the damage and deterioration caused by the years that have passed through this enclosure, which currently only functions as a home for the elderly, and whose current condition can be evidenced in this publication , Born as a religious institution, it currently helps everyone it can regardless of the religion they profess, I think that is one of the best ways to demonstrate what true love for others is.
Currently directed by Sister Trinidad, who does her hard work to help the grandparents who reside here, and who is in constant search of sustenance for these 40 elderly who are currently in the enclosure. Due to the problems explained in the aforementioned post, the idea of creating the #Hivedamor initiative arose, and later an account to raise funds that will allow us to help these grandparents in a more continuous and direct way. And the truth is that yes, Hive can do a lot for these grandparents! Much more than what governmental organizations do for them.
The purpose of this account is to collect funds from publications, donations and initiatives that arise from now on, to contribute to the food and basic requirements of medicines for these grandparents. Likewise, this account will be managed by

The creation of
, arises as mentioned above, from the need that can be observed in the Asilo de Ancianos Santo Domingo, and is an idea that has been working on since long before even thinking about the creation of this account and to imagine that, indeed, Hive could be able to help so much to those who do not even have idea of its existence. With the funds raised in this publication About 70 HBD in liquid and another 10 HBD that were donated by users who were moved by the situation, approximately $80, we were able to make a representative purchase that could mitigate the meals for about a day and a half of about 40 people, with which, at least the 40 grandparents would have food insured.
It was possible to buy pre-cooked corn flour, rice, pasta, sugar, vegetable oil, oatmeal, milk, cheese to grate, bologna, tuna, beans, tomatoes, onions and salt, demonstrating that indeed much can be done for these grandparents, the gratitude of Sister Trinidad could be seen on her face without a doubt, asking me to thank each of the people who made this small contribution possible, she told me without hesitation that no contribution is small when we give it from the heart.
Undoubtedly, these have not been the best pictures we could show you, but they are real, like the love that Hive can give to those who need it most, today is officially born in the Hive blockchain, with the intention of helping the grandparents of the Asilo Santo Domingo de Villa de Cura in Venezuela, and who knows if in the future we could help others. El Asilo para ancianos Santo Domingo, ubicado en Villa de Cura, estado Aragua, es una institución sin fines de lucro, fundada en 1902 por La Madre María de San José por orden del Padre José Manuel Jiménez, y que además en un principio cumplía la función de hospital y asilo, pues dado a la cantidad de heridos por las guerras de aquella época era necesario tener un lugar para atender aquella gran cantidad de heridos. Muchos años han pasado, al igual que gobiernos por nuestro país y hoy se avizoran los daños y el deterioro causado por los años que han pasado por este recinto, que actualmente solo funciona como asilo para ancianos, y cuya condición actual se puede evidenciar en esta publicación, nacida como una institución religiosa, actualmente ayuda a todos los que puede sin importar la religión que profesen, creo que esa es una de las mejores maneras de demostrar lo que es el verdadero amor por el prójimo.
Dirigida actualmente por la Hermana Trinidad, quien hace su ardua labor para ayudar a los abuelitos que aquí residen, y que se encuentra en la constante búsqueda del sustento para estos 40 ancianos que actualmente están en el recinto. Debido a la problemática que se explica en el post antes mencionado, surge la idea de crear la iniciativa #Hivedamor, y posteriormente una cuenta para recaudar fondos que nos permitan ayudar de manera más continua y directa a estos abuelitos. Y es que la verdad es que si, ¡Hive puede hacer mucho por estos abuelitos! Mucho más de lo que organizaciones gubernamentales hacen por ellos.
Esta cuenta tiene como finalidad recaudar fondos provenientes de publicaciones, donaciones e iniciativas que surjan de ahora en más, para contribuir con la alimentación y requerimientos básicos de medicinas para estos abuelitos. De igual manera esa cuenta será administrada por y , siendo estos responsables por los fondos y su administración, y que de igual forma se comprometen a reportar lo que se logre hacer con estos fondos recaudados.
La creación de, surge como ya se mencionó anteriormente, de la necesidad que se logra observar en el Asilo de Ancianos Santo Domingo, y es una idea en la que se ha estado trabajando desde mucho antes de tan siquiera pensar en la creación de esta cuenta y de poder imaginar que, en efecto, Hive podría ser capaz de ayudar tanto a los que ni siquiera tienen idea de su existencia. Con los fondos recaudados en esta publicación unos 70 HBD en líquido y otros 10 HBD que fueron donados por usuarios que se conmovieron con la situación, aproximadamente 80 $, se logró hacer una compra representativa que podría mitigar las comidas para aproximadamente día y medio de unas 40 personas, con lo cual, por lo menos los 40 abuelitos tendría comida asegurada.
Se pudo comprar, harina de maíz pre cocida, arroz, pasta, azúcar, aceite vegetal, avena, leche, queso para rallar, mortadela, atún, frijoles, tomates, cebollas y sal, quedando demostrado que en efecto es mucho lo que se puede hacer por estos abuelos, el agradecimiento de la Hermana Trinidad se podía ver en su rostro sin duda alguna, pidiéndome que le diera las gracias a cada una de las personas que hizo posible este pequeño aporte, que ella sin dudarlo me dijo que ningún aporte es pequeño cuando lo damos con el corazón.
Sin duda alguna, estas no han sido las mejores fotografías que podíamos mostrarles, pero son reales, como el amor que Hive puede llegar a dar a los que más lo necesitan, hoy nace oficialmente en la blockchain de Hive, con la intención de ayudar a los abuelitos del Asilo Santo Domingo de Villa de Cura en Venezuela, y quien sabe si en un futuro podríamos ayudar a otros más.
