¡Hola, Hivers! Mi nombre es Leonardo Castillo. Soy Licenciado en Música, con especialización en producción musical, y también soy ingeniero de sonido. Mi principal enfoque y fuerte es ser ingeniero de mezcla. Me gusta mucho entrenar y llevo varios años haciendo ejercicio, principalmente levantamiento de pesas. Actualmente, he añadido el senderismo a mis rutinas y lo he disfrutado muchísimo. También me encanta viajar (¿a quién no?), así que estaré compartiendo mis viajes aquí. En mi perfil encontrarán música, viajes, paisajes y muchas otras cosas que surgirán en el camino.

Hello, Hivers! My name is Leonardo Castillo. I have a degree in Music, specializing in music production, and I am also a sound engineer. My main focus and expertise lie in mixing engineering. I really enjoy working out, and I have been exercising for several years, mainly weightlifting. Recently, I have also taken up hiking as part of my routines, and I have immensely enjoyed it. I am also a big fan of traveling (who isn't?), so I will be sharing my journeys here. Hoy me presento nuevamente con esta nueva cuenta, porque durante estos últimos años ha pasado de todo. Sé que para muchos, la pandemia marcó un antes y un después, y yo no fui la excepción. Ahora quiero regresar a Hive, empezar desde cero y, al mismo tiempo, comenzar en la nueva plataforma Hive account@liketu, que descubrí gracias a Hive account@dimeilaz y parece ser otro lugar ideal para compartir las historias de estos últimos años, compartir mi travesía. Today I introduce myself again with this new account because a lot has happened during these past years. I know that for many, the pandemic marked a before and after, and I was no exception. Now I want to come back to Hive, start from scratch, and simultaneously begin on the new platform Hive account@liketu, which I discovered thanks to Hive account@dimeilaz and seems to be another ideal place to share the stories of these past years, to share my journey. Although I haven't yet achieved some long-term goals, the path has been more than satisfying and exciting. I want to document part of this story I'm building on the blockchain, and this is the best place to do it.

Mi profesión

Como algunos sabrán, mi vida gira en torno a la música. Afortunadamente, he logrado alcanzar los objetivos que me propuse al inicio de mi camino en este campo. Trabajé en el estudio de grabación más grande de mi país y allí aprendí mucho sobre cómo llevar a cabo sesiones de grabación. No todo se trata de aspectos técnicos, también hay muchos detalles en cuanto a cómo trabajar con los músicos, lo cual es extremadamente importante. Además de ser grandes profesionales, debemos ser grandes personas para alcanzar nuestros objetivos.

My Profession

As some may know, my life revolves around music. Fortunately, I have managed to achieve the goals I set for myself at the beginning of my journey in this field. I worked at the largest recording studio in my country, where I learned a lot about conducting recording sessions. It's not just about technical aspects; there are also many details on how to work with musicians, which is extremely important. In addition to being great professionals, we must be great individuals to reach our goals.

Con esa experiencia, desde el año pasado he estado cubriendo un gran número de sesiones en vivo en el estudio del CENDIS (Centro Nacional del Disco). Participé en gran parte del proyecto "Sesiones CENDIS", donde grabé, mezclé y mastericé al lado de mi socio, amigo y compañero Hive account@manuelmusic (del cual sabrán más adelante). Hicimos casi 50 sesiones de las cuales aún quedan muchas por estrenar, así que cada semana podrán disfrutar del estreno de una sesión de un grupo musical distinto en este canal.

With that experience, since last year I have been covering a large number of live sessions at the CENDIS studio (The National Disc Center). I participated in a significant part of the project "Sesiones CENDIS", where I recorded, mixed, and mastered alongside my partner, friend, and colleague Hive account@manuelmusic (whom you will learn more about later). We did almost 50 sessions, many of which are yet to be released, so every week you can enjoy the premiere of a session from a different musical group on this channel.

Además, pasé varios años trabajando en vivo. Cuando no estaba en el estudio, estaba trabajando en conciertos. La empresa para la que trabajaba hace unos años cubría ambos ámbitos. Esto, junto con mucho estudio, me permitió ser el ingeniero del Ensamble B11 en los últimos años, una agrupación que ha sido muy cercana a mí en mi carrera profesional.

Furthermore, I spent several years working live. When I wasn't in the studio, I was working at concerts. The company I worked for a few years ago covered both areas. This, along with a lot of studying, allowed me to become the engineer for Ensamble B11 in recent years, a group that has been very close to me in my professional career.

Mi proyecto

Durante mi proceso para graduarme como Licenciado, desarrollé el proyecto de una disquera independiente. Ahí nació Sunlight Music Group, un proyecto que ha ido creciendo poco a poco. Gracias a mucho trabajo y a tener a los mejores compañeros, cada vez estamos más cerca de lograr nuestros objetivos. Mis compañeros son increíbles y significan mucho para mí. My Project

During my process of graduating as a Bachelor's degree holder, I developed the project of an independent record label. That's where Sunlight Music Group was born, a project that has been growing little by little. Thanks to a lot of hard work and having the best teammates, we are getting closer and closer to achieving our goals. My teammates are incredible and mean a lot to me.
