Never underestimate the power of SMART goals. I wrote my goals as specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound as they could be. It was easier to complete a chunk of the goal than the big goal right away. As an example, I set a total of 500km run this year. With other things on my plate, 500km feels impossible to accomplish but with the right plan in place (running at least 10km a week or 3.5km thrice a week) I'll be able to complete a difficult goal. Write your goals and break them down. Create a step-by-step process of how you'll get there.
Flying colors, a lot, a home, a career, love, travel, fitness. All of them were engraved on paper before they became my reality. I remember like it was just yesterday when I wrote all of these dreams in a tiny prayer book. Indeed, dreams do come true for those who understand that each day we only need to take a step closer to our goals.
Life is too short to be aimlessly living each passing day!
