Two years ago I picked up two orchid plants in a supermarket. They were heavily discounted as all the flowers already faded and they looked pretty dehydrated. If I remember well they were around 1,70 euro/each which is almost like for free.
I chose two that I thought will be different. One had narrower, green leaves (high probability of white flowers), while the second one had wider leaves and they had some red shade on the edges. Normally that would mean some kind of pinkish flowers.
Last year one of them bloomed and it was classic, plain white as I expected. The second one skipped blooming season.
This year I noticed flower spike on both of them. Cool, I thought, I will have both blooming and I will see the difference.
And here is a surprise. They are both the same! The one I knew is white blasted the buds (but growing new ones now), the one I did not know what it is, bloomed and this is what you see here. I was hoping for different colour.
And not so long ago I was showing you my favourite Phalaenopsis Sogo Twilight Rainbow and I mentioned that it has very small flowers comparing to the regular Phals. Here they are together so you see the difference.
The white one is still not the biggest. It is one of those medium size plants.
