A Place I Long To Be - Original Poetry

There's a place I long to be
where
my heart's free of misery,
I don't have to sleep alone,
my soul finds salvation,
my curves meet adoration.

There's a place I long to be
where
I can get rid of all this insanity,
and I could be myself again,
I pray to return and stay
forever lost into your arms.

There's a place I long to be
for a thousands reasons more,
a place where
all regrets or fears vanish,
and the dawn of day brings
only love and serendipity.

I know the way that leads me there;
all I'll need is one way ticket to ride
the tidal wave that rises ahead of me,
washing up all that I've known before you,
flattening wishes, beds, words, eyes and threats.
