I have decided to open this contest that I used to host weekly for my community 'Powerhousecreatives' to the public. Now everyone can join.
For starters, this contest will have a duration of approximately 1 week and a new contest will be announced every Tuesday (GMT+8) of the week. The results for the contest that week would be announced the following Monday night (1 week deadline) (GMT+8).
This contest genre will vary from drawing challenges, photo prompts, writing challenge and many more that will inspire you to think out of the box.
Choose Your Write
I guess we're going back to the simple basic form of content creation this week and that is Writing.
This week, you are given 5 short story ideas and you can choose any medium or method to tell your story. It can be in a form of a poem, a music mixtape, drawing, video or just the basic, pure writing. Whatever way you would like your work to be read/listen/seen.
I know that many of you are really amazing writers so I can't wait to see what you guys send in.
The Writer's Week
Story Prompts :
- You start receiving flowers and anonymous gifts. You don't know who is sending them and the gifts begin to get stranger.
- You go out for dinner and you heard a gunshot.
- Make a list of five things you're afraid of happening to you. Then write a story in which one of them happens to you.
- Write about you being planet Earth for the first time.
- You have always believed magic exists. You just didn’t know how close it really was.
Criterias :
The story can be of any genre. (Comedy, horror, documentary, action...)
Entry must not be less than 350 words.
Add a nice title to your entry. (Extra points for nice titles)
You may use other photos/illustrations in your letter.
You have to choose ONE prompt above to begin writing.

She used to work in a sports betting call center. She started at 12 m and left at 6 pm. It was a simple job and paid very well. Finally, I am getting all I have wanted my whole life...freedom! so I thought. I have always wanted to move out of my parents house to start a life for myself. Every year I tried to convince them to allow me move out but they wouldn't agree because they felt I am still their little girl, even when I kept reminding them that I am 18years and old enough to stay on my own. Now I have my own pretty apartment...not so big but "I love it!"...

In the first image we see her showing some bruises she got trying to fly. That is how she met her little partner, who she kept and grew up with. She realized that the magic she was desperately trying to find in witches, because when you have magic you can fix things, could be found in a partner too...

Small town life. Nothing exciting ever happens here. Until the day it does.We've had dinner at the local Denny's dozens of times, it's one of our few sit-down dinner places that doesn't include a drive-thru and getting your meal in a greasy sack. And the convenience of a truck stop and a gas station right out front. What's not to love, right?
