After R woke us at 3am due to a nightmare the dumb cat kept me awake so I went to the couch and managed to pass out for a while longer. When I woke had already gone to work as she couldn't go back to sleep after R woke us. When I went to the couch I saw it had just started to snow some pretty big flakes and when I woke there was 2.5" of snow.
A few more bands of snow came through but nothing near what fell before dawn. I spent the bulk of the morning working on my various lessons then watched Man Utd have a far better match than they did over the weekend.
I've found what seems to work the best for my skin, what seems to heal it the fastest. I've taken to compounding my own cream from the Elidel and Mometasone with the Aveeno baby nighttime balm. The balm does a super job of keeping the Rx creams on my skin and I have a dramatically improved reaction to the combination than by any of the three alone.
After picking J up from school as I had to get R earlier since he got a bit of a hard cough, I went for a wander up the sheep pen. One benefit of winter and the snow is that it makes filling their water rather easy since the tank heater melts the snow nicely.
A large portion of the snow has melted in the upper pen where there is far more sun exposure than by the house.
The valley is much the same as it gets a lot more sun than we do in our pit.
I had no clue what to do for dinner but I got making a batch of pure wheat tortillas which then lead to us having soft tacos for dinner. The pure wheat tortillas come out so nice and are wonderfully soft and delicious when fresh from the stove. I need to make a batch of corn soon as I have the masa harina now.
I got the trailer hooked up and the barrels in the truck for my grain run this morning. It was only for a single barrel but I was able to drop empties that are needed in the next few days.
Snowing again this morning but it is heavier in town than on the farm. I have been to town for the barrel of grain and have the trailer unhooked for taking the boys to school. Later I will empty the barrel somewhere around the farm, get lessons done, likely will have to move some snow if it keeps going today, need to clean out the fire pit so I can finally grill again, and prep everything for the wrestling tournament tomorrow morning.
