Jesus, if he was a real person, is a dead man. One of the most infamous crimes committed on the world is Christianity. No person can atone for the sins of another.
From the writings that 2 Billion people hang their eternal future it is written:

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
[6] And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. Luke 1:5, 6.

Zacharias and Elisabeth were righteous in the same time period that Jesus existed.

Paul wrote:
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:. Ro.ans 3:10.

How then were Zacharias and Elisabeth righteous when Jesus was not yet born?

Jesus is an idol. Is is idolatry to worship a man.
