5 Reasons I love Hive.

Yesterday, I did a post about the upcoming SPK miner claim drop on Sunday and that it will be the 2-year anniversary of HIVE on that date too! WOW! You can read that post HERE.
Today when scrolling in the news feed, I see that a lot of people are getting into the HIVE mood, such as 
Today, I want to dive a bit into that topic and list out the reasons why I love Hive.
Love is a many splendored thing. It is a feeling of strong attachment or admiration and caring for someone or something. Love is often described as a deep, passionate affection. So, in that sense, yes, I do love hive. I am passionate about it, have admiration for the ideas that it stands for, and care that it does good and grows.
5 Reasons
1 - HIVE has connected me to many unique people :
Friends can be found in the most interesting of places. Sometimes we find them in the most unexpected of circumstances. But, no matter where we find them, friends always make life more fun and enjoyable.
From Hive, I have connected with quite a few people from around the world. One of these contacts even helped me find work, and that brings me to point 2.
2 - HIVE has provided me with extra income to help me live :
Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it sure can make life a lot easier. A little extra income can help smooth out the ups and downs of life and make them a little more manageable.
From staking rewards, delegations, and second layer rewards, HIVE also provided me with employment with D.Buzz (The Microblog of HIVE). It is in no small way that I have to say, that alone has altered my life in many great ways and makes me love the Hive even more.
3 - HIVE has provided me with a new passion and hobbies :
Passions keep you young. They keep your heart rate up, your blood circulating and your mind active. They give you a reason to get up in the morning, and they keep you going all day long. Without passions, life would be pretty dull.
On Hive, the various contests, games, challenges and more, has directed a lot of my creativity in one way or another, such as daily photos. This has, at least I feel, helped me better hone my creativity and passion.
4 - HIVE has inspired me to be creative in new ways :
Creativity needs a focus or a destination just like anything else in life. You need to know where you’re going in order to get there. Without a focus or destination, you may find yourself all over the place with no real progress made. This is why a direction is important in creativity. It gives you something to aim for and keeps you on track.
This all builds off point 3, that I now find myself thinking of creative ways to write, draw, and contribute to the HIVE.
5 - HIVE has given me a voice :
It's so important to have a voice. It's what makes us unique and individual. And it's what helps us grow and learn. We need to be able to express ourselves, to share our thoughts and feelings. It's how we connect with others, and how we learn and grow.
Finally, it is a good feeling to know that your voice will stay, at least stay longer then FB or Twitter and provide, that my account, so long as I keep it secure, is mine... that the forces that be, can not censor my voice or take away my community if they deem it. That is HUGE!
Summary
Do what you love, and the money will come. That's the old adage, and it's a true one. If you're doing something you're passionate about, the money will follow. You don't have to worry about the bills, because you'll be too busy doing what you love. This isn't to say that you won't have to work hard. You most certainly will. But, if you're doing something you're passionate about, you won't mind the work. In fact, you'll love it.
