Hello everybody,
I am happy to be with you today. I think I have written enough about my Congo trip :) Congo is a different country in many ways. That's why I took a lot of photos and wanted to share them with you. Now I want to tell you about my daily routine. I'm a little busy right now.
I introduced myself to you in my first post here. I am doing a master's degree in energy and sustainable development. I'm in the thesis phase this semester. I have to submit my thesis next May. I am at the very beginning of the thesis writing process. I have very little time left. I will inform you about my thesis process in other posts.
However, I started going to my uncle's place of work the last month. My uncle has a foreign partner now. Since my uncle does not speak English, I provide communication between them. The partner of my uncle is Tunisian. We can communicate in English as a common language. If he was a native, I probably wouldn't be able to do the translation job. I'm not that good yet :)

Bugün de sizlerle birlikte olmaktan mutluyum. Kongo gezisi hakkında yeterince yazdığımı düşünüyorum:) Birçok anlamda farklı bir ülke Kongo. O yüzden birçok fotoğraf çektim ve sizinle paylaşmak istedim. Şimdi sizlere günlük rutinimden bahsetmek istiyorum. Şu aralar biraz yoğunum.
Buradaki ilk paylaşımımda size kendimi tanıtmıştım. Enerji ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma bölümünde yüksek lisans yapıyorum. Bu dönem tez aşamasındayım. Önümüzdeki mayıs ayında tezimi teslim etmem gerekiyor. Ben ise tez yazma sürecinin daha başındayım. Çok az zamanım kaldı. Tez sürecim hakkında sizi başka postlarda bilgilendireceğim.
Bununla birlikte dayımın iş yerine gitmeye başladım son bir aydır. Dayımın yabancı bir ortağı var artık. Dayım İngilizce bilmediği için aradaki iletişimi ben sağlıyorum. Dayıma ortak olan kişi Tunus'lu. Ortak dil olarak İngilizce anlaşabiliyoruz. Native biri olsaydı muhtemelen çevirmenlik işini yapamazdım. henüz o kadar iyi değilim :)
The photos that I shared in this post belong to yesterday. Yesterday was a fun and busy day. First, we went to a chocolate factory. I think this was one of the best moments of the day :) I tried to do business with chocolates. I waited in that factory for about two hours. It took me two hours to review and correct the few papers I had prepared.
Bu postta paylaştığım fotoğraflar düne ait. Dün hem eğlenceli hem yoğun birgündü. İlk olarak bir çikolata fabrikasına gittik. Günün en güzel anlarından biri buydu sanırım :) Çikolatalar eşliğinde iş yapmaya çalıştım. O fabrikada yaklaşık iki saat bekledim. Hazırladığım birkaç evrağın incelenmesi ve düzeltilmesi iki saatimi aldı.
After leaving the factory, we went to have dinner. We were 5 guys and we were very hungry. We needed to find a nice restaurant for this :) and of course we found it. These two images belong there. Even if it is not the main course, it can be filled with them. The appetizers served before the main meal are very important here. The main course wouldn't come without them. We started to eat appetizers before the main course arrived. The main course has arrived, yes :)
Fabrikadan ayrıldıktan sonra yemek yemeğe gittik. 5 kişiydik ve çok acıkmıştık. Bunun için güzel bir restoran bulmamız gerekiyordu :) ve bulduk tabi ki. Bu iki görsel oraya ait. Ana yemek olmasa bile bunlarla doyulabilir. Bizim buralarda ana yemek öncesi ikram edilen mezeler çok önemlidir. Bunlar olmadan ana yemek gelmez. Ana yemek gelmeden önce mezelerden yemeye başladık. Ana yemek geldi evet :)
We had dinner and left the restaurant at 4 pm. The day is not over yet. After leaving here, we returned to the workplace with my uncles. There is a construction on the street where my uncle's workplace is. My uncle is taking care of this place. We also visited the construction you see in the photo. Of course, in the meantime, I continue to work as a translator. I have no idea about construction. I don't know many of the words in this field. Before I go to construction, I write down construction-related words in my notebook. It works when translating :)
Yemek yedik ve restorandan saat 4 pm'de ayrıldık. Gün henüz bitmedi. Buradan ayrıldıktan sonra iş yerine döndük dayımlarla. Dayımın iş yerinin olduğu sokakta bir inşaat var. Dayım burası ile ilgileniyor. Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz inşaatı da ziyaret ettik. Tabi bu sırada ben tercümanlık yapmaya devam ediyorum. İnşaat konusuna hakim değilim. Bu alandaki kelimelerin birçoğunu bilmiyorum. İnşaata gitmeden önce inşaat ile ilgili kelimeleri defterime not ediyorum. Tercümanlık yaparken işe yarıyor:)
Last but not least, at the beginning of the article, I told you that I am in the process of writing a thesis. These notes you see in the last photo belong to my thesis. These are the main titles of my thesis. I need to read and write about these topics quickly. Creating these titles is very important. It's easy for me after that.
Ve en önemli konuyu en sona bıraktım. Yazının başında bahsettim size tez yazma sürecinde olduğumu. Son fotoğrafta gördüğünüz bu notlar tezime ait. Bunlar tezimin ana hatları. Bu konular hakkında okumalar yapıp hızlıca yazmam gerekiyor. Bu başlıkları oluşturmak çok önemli. Bundan sonrası kolay benim için.
