This is my entry for #CCH community contest Round 7 organized by . Theme for this round is food photography. I am so happy that I will be sharing some delicious meal made by myself π.
One thing i love about my country Nigeria is the fact that each tribe have their own dish but as an Igbo girl, I will be sharing some native food. Most of this food, you will find them in some occasions like traditional marriages.
Banga soup
This is one of my favorite soups, I like my Banga prepared with cat fish and you can actually use any anything to eat with it. You can use fufu, Eba or starch. Most Igbos will prefer fufu while the Urhobo will go with starch. It's very easy to prepare if you follow the procedure.
Okro soup
Most people say that okro soup is the easiest of all soups, well I will agree with them because it will just take you 30 minutes to prepare this meal. People have their different methods of preparing this but I still like mine.
Jollof rice
This is my favorite food. You can actually see this food in any occasions you find yourself. Be it birthday party, wedding occasions to name a few. Even if you don't have enough money to add chicken or beef to the food, you can use egg but in the absence of egg, you can eat it just like that. But I like my Jollof rice with spicy chicken or boiled eggs.
How do you like yours?
I have many other meals I will love to share with you all, but for the sake of the contest, I will stop here.
Thanks for reading.
