Happy Thursday HIVERS!
Hope this amazing community is on crush mode and kicking some major ass!!
I'm stoked, although I was able to get in my usual workout under the orange lights; the morning was a bit off. I'll expand on that with my post submission, later this afternoon.
It's all about being Nerdy right now and go over some stats further down, as we finish out another month in 2022 and March into April with optimism and a fierce attitude.
As I've written plenty of time the last couple of months, there are dozens of ways to use ListNerds and each way will either help you earn more rewards, earn you more followers, more engagement and/or build your personal brand.
Not to be an obvious fanboy of - but dude was ahead of his time in the off-chain marketing space where many of us have met him, join his programs and read ALL his stuff. I mean he made traffic exchanges sexy. Say what? If you can do that, it's on and poppin:
The reason I bring Jon up specifically, because his words have always resonated with me. The problem was that, I battled the brand new shiny object syndrome (actually, just one of the many mistakes I made), that by the time; I was realizing how much sense he was making that; I quit online marketing and went back to my regular 9 to 5 life.
If you follow and you are following his 7 Reasons Affiliates Fail series, there is a post where he brings up a legend, Seth Godin's book, Purple Cow: Transform Your Business By Being Remarkable and that got me thinking about the efforts, I've been making to stand out and become recognizable. Bob's Post Monkey See, Monkey Do
That stuck with me for many years and although, I stepped away for a bunch of years and in coming back; my first inclination was to make sure that I put my face and name on everything.
and although, I essentially have minimized my old marketing approaches; I still have banners like the one above in rotation by the bunches; because honestly I wouldn't be able to stop it - if I tried - lol.
Yes, I took personal branding; very seriously.
So although, I have transitioned or working on transitioning into a more organic approach to marketing and falling into that space, that the CLICK.TRACK.PROFIT team, strongly believes in and shows us in their training of pulling and not pushing in your marketing efforts; especially when building a list of subscribers.
When social media came into play and it basically became a force to be reckoned with, online marketers had to pivot their marketing and things had to become more transparent. I can't say that there isn't still a lot of shady shit going on, but it became a very powerful way to brand yourself and for people to get to know YOU.
Along comes crypto and subsequently HIVE on my journey with CTP and when they introduce members to this world, it becomes another level of transparency; but it shouldn't change the one thing that we all should strive for and that is standing out.
For most content creators on this platform, we want folks to come by and read our stuff, upvote us and engage with us. Drop comments, as we should be doing as well in other people's posts.
I've kept that as part of my approach and it being non-negotiable. It's almost like you either like me or you don't, but I'm moving forward with putting myself out there - FULL FORCE - and deal with whatever comes; good or bad.
The thing is that, yes - my upvotes were increasing as I stayed consistent with my posts, yes - my rewards were increasing as I showed up daily, but I felt like I needed a boost (which coincidentally I also do use the boost feature)
The biggest boost came in the form of LISTNERDS, because this was the absolute perfect platform to expand my personal brand.
As I pointed out in my post: HIVE Posts on Nerd Mode, using this tool increase everything across the board.
All that sums up to, getting the honor to be a guest on The Cryptomaniacs, being a full month at #1 on the ListNerds Richlist, an increase in rewards, a few ticks up in HIVE reputation and MORE IMPORTANTLY and with an abundance of GRATITUDE, discovering amazing people and their butt kicking content. OMG, it's mind-boggling.
BY THE NUMBERS
The Lead Capture Page I strictly used for the month of March, where I avoided the free ads giveaway, predictably brough on less subscribers to my list; but with that said - I did manage 40 subscribers:
The Crypto Mailer, was the ad site of the month; getting me 12 sign-ups - actually 13 through a solo ad (the one in the source column labeled thecryptomailersolo)
My effort into it could have been better, of course; but at the expense of limiting whatever activity time I can put into HIVE - it will lose 99 out of 100% of the time:
LEAD CAPTURE PAGE that I'm rotating currently:
Hanging on to the top spot of the ListNerds Richlist for the month of March was pretty cool. I mean, I could have been knocked out of first place in a heartbeat, by a bunch of folks, but it was nice to be on top for a bit. It helps with the personal branding, it shows the owners - that I believe in their product/service and USE IT; while demonstrating that if I can do it anyone can - lol.
The mailing history total, although still in progress, as it takes up to 7 to 10 days for the verification process to complete; there is still plenty to be proud about for the results in the month of March of 2022:
03.01.22 - 03.09.22
03.09.22 - 03.18.22
03.18.22 - 03.28.22
03.28.22 - 03.30.22
So for the most part, more of my mails have gotten verified than not and although I'm very aware that those numbers along with the click through rate will start coming down and in a sense normalizing; there is a lot to be said about putting in that effort into using the platform for multiple purposes and yes, the membership level will make a difference - but regardless of whatever level you are on; use whatever you have access to.
Stick out like a Nerdy Thumb.
