I have been noticing more small oases nearby and yesterday I grabbed my camera and explored a shared garden, a more organized one compared to the one I posted last week. I have actually already visited this place some weeks ago but without my camera, and I felt so inspired by all the plants and flowers. Now when I came back I noticed that many flowers had already bloomed. It looked a bit sad. In a way this spring passed by so fast, at least from a plant's perspective. But of course, many are yet to blossom. Like the cherries below.
This garden has some nice pathways and is clearly divided into small lots. You can join the community if you want a lot for yourself. But it's open for anyone to visit and enjoy. I like this system of trust. It gives me hope for humanity.
Equipped with my macro filter I kneeled down and discovered a lot of details. The bees are busy ššš. After some time observing the bees I felt a bit mesmerized. They don't think about the past or the future, they are fully present. Busy but present, fully focused on the task at hand. I felt I could sit there on the ground among them and observe them forever.
Right next to the garden area there is a small pond. I felt inspired to sit down for some contemplation, grateful for this opportunity to slow down and breathe. I had spent the whole day inside and was feeling quite hyper. This place brought me back to being fully in the present moment. And such a nice spot for doing some writing or reading. I'll definitely return here soon. It's so interesting I felt that I don't have any green areas near me, this place is about 10 minutes away. Sometimes it's just about opening your eyes to what's already in front of you. Who knows what else I have been missing? Quite intriguing when you shift your perspective in this way.
What we see depends mainly on what we look for

Seeing this shopping cart full of plants made me smile. It feels so typical Berlin, I had to include it here. People always find creative ways of doing and using things here. I'm sure that's the same in many other cities but you wouldn't see something like this in Stockholm. That place is too sterile for something like this.
Here's another quote that I really like.
All the flowers of the tomorrows are in the seeds of today
ā Indian Proverb
I find this to be so true. It's how we choose to show up for ourselves today that determines how our future will look like. I truly believe that you can get anything you want in life. The first thing is to be very clear about what you actually want. And then you go out and get it. You create your own destiny. Anything is possible.
I had goosebumps yesterday when the new trimester in my course started and I listened to my teacher. This summer will be a big challenge for me but I know I'll grow so much from it. I'm like a flower ready to blossom. I just have to remind myself of that sometimes.
