So true, the starting point of every healing transformation can only be an intention (or believe) that something will change for the better. Closely related is to believe in one´s self-efficacy (after the psychologist Albert Bandura) which is just a fancy term for almost the same thing.
Usually, before I go to bed, I think about the things I want to do the next day, that I want to be kind, happy and productive. It doesn´t work all the time, but most often it does :)
