Providing food for our loved ones and family is not just preparing it because it is delicious, we need to choose more on what is best for their health, the meal should be balanced and complete not necessarily choosing what is expensive, there are a lot of food that is rich in nutrients that we don't need to spend much and it's always best when it is cooked at home, I always avoid using seasonings that are full of preservatives, it always good to use natural spices..
I also buy food from the restaurant and fast-food chains, because I am a working individual and sometimes, I am very much tired to prepare and cook for our regular meal..but as much as possible I always try to manage my time well so I don't need to sacrifice the health of my family. I love them so much that is why I always wanted to protect and take good care of their health..
For every meal, as much as possible, I always ensure that there is a carbohydrate, protein, calcium, vitamin C, and other nutrients that their body needs
I loved to prepare sweet foods, bake a cake and pastries..but it doesn't mean that I am sacrificing the health of my beloved family...before I make sweet foods for them, the regular meal was already prepared
We are normal humans, we craved junk food sometimes, hehehe I would never believe it if some people would say they never had any junk food maybe a few for some reason
And anything taken extremely could be considered as junk..because even for healthy food, it should be taken in the right amount and if by chance that the food is so delicious and hard to control our appetite then a little too much is not that bad if we are not regularly doing it...just to sate our capricious appetite, especially for the kids that do not have enough knowledge on taking good care of their health..
Here are the complete food meal I usually prepare for lunch or dinner..and there are times at breakfast too..
A PLATE OF COMPLETE MEAL ON MY MENU
So here as you can see there are 2 pieces of medium sliced fried fish..this fish is called Milkfish..a very tasty fish. I fried them using butter
And I also fry the tomatoes a little bit in butter, because it gives more lycopene when heated
There are the steamed ladyfingers on the plate too..and it is well known as fibrous food which is good for our intestine..and a very spicy fermented small prawn or shrimp.
Very spicy because our little kid loved to eat super spicy food my whole family seems like their appetite is less when the food is not spicy
And here is the (seashell) Mussels noodle soup..with Pechay or white Chinese cabbage in English then fresh celery, lt was very tasty and healthy and I put fresh celery. It is my habit to have any kind of soup in our regular meal, even if the simplest Egg soup. if our viand is not saucy or fried
Then the fruit is served as one of the dessert, well sometimes I prepare a separate sweet dish aside from fruit..it depends on the fruit if it will match on the dessert..but like this one. Pomelo.. is best even without any other dessert...it is rich in vitamin C
*And this "Halo-halo" in our language, it has gelatin, jackfruit, purple yum, Leche flan, coconut meat too..you could add ice cream on it if you want to.
..ahw so yummy..and evaporated milk to pour into it. This is so healthy and yummy too..full of nutrients..and make sure everybody will love to have it!*
Always make it a habit to prepare and cook the food full of love and serve with a beautiful smile..❤
