Craving spicy and kinda soupy, I thought of making Korean steamed eggs but make it spicy and add something into it. So, I decided to add some imitation crab, mushrooms and baby bok choy and to make it spicy, I added Korean pepper paste and pepper flakes. It was so good! I ate only this for lunch and now, I am full and very satisfied! 😅👌🏻💯
Ingredients:
4 eggs
4 pcs imitation crab (or any meat you would like to add or no meat is fine too)
2 pcs baby bok choy (or any leafy greens available)
4 pcs mushroom, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 spring onion, chopped
1 cup water
1 1/2 tbsp Korean pepper paste
1 tbsp Korean pepper flakes
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp sesame oil
sesame seeds
How to make it:
In a heated pot, add sesame oil. Cook mushroom, garlic and spring onion. Add in water, pepper paste, pepper flakes, fish sauce and sugar. Cover and bring to a boil. Add in imitation crab and bok choy. While stirring, add in the beaten eggs and cover. Steam at medium-low for 5-7 mins. Top with spring onion and sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
