Smoothie is a kind of beverage made by blending different types of fruits and vegetables together. It has a liquid base of juice, milk, yoghurt, and ice cream depending on the ingredients used in making it.
There are different types of smoothies such green smoothies, protein smoothies, and yoghurt smoothies. Based on smoothie’s nutritional value, it can be taken as a replacement for meal.
Though, smoothies have lots of nutritional value, care must be taken to avoid sugar which may constitute negative health effect.
Smoothie is best enjoyed during warm weather and can be used to start the cooling of the warm day.
Fellow Hivers below are the pictures of smoothie I prepared today and cool off the hectic workday after work. I was highly refreshed by it. The pictures also show both the fruits used and the process of making the smoothie. All the pictures are original and are mine using Samsung note 8 to capture all the pictures.
For this smoothie, apple, papaw, Pineapple and watermelon were used as ingredients.
All the ingredients were sliced to sizes for ease of smooth blending.
The sliced ingredients is being put in the bending machine, ready to be blended together, little water was added for better juice base during the blending.
