INGREDIENTS:

place in a large bowl the flour, egg, sugar, salt and butter and incorporate until it looks like beach sand, then add water a little at a time until the dough is integrated, approximately use half a glass of water but this depends.
Knead until all the dough comes off your hands and leaves a clean surface, then add flour to the bowl and let the dough rest there for 15 minutes with a kitchen towel on top, arrange the fillings in case of shredded meat and chopped cheese in small pieces.
after 15 minutes stretch the dough and with a circular cutter make circles in the dough, if you don't have a cutter a glass works perfect, then place the filling in each circle.
Moisten the edges of the circle and close the pastry in a half-moon shape, press with a fork to seal the edges, repeat this step with each one, then in a pan with hot oil start frying the pastries until golden brown.
