Good Spot With City View, Hive Meetup

If it wasn't about the atmosphere or the view, I probably wouldn't eat at a cafe. Honestly, we all look for novelty in new places, right?

If there's no good or unique view, it's better to choose a smaller place with lower prices. Especially if you're traveling, you can choose a street food vendor.

Like this time, I recommend a cafe with a good city view. I recommend it to my fellow Hivers who want to meet up.

Long story short, I was traveling to Jakarta, about 500 km from my rental house. I was visiting my husband's family.

So, I took the time to meet up with my friends who also write for Hive.

I met up with Hive account@titisnariyah and Hive account@viviehardika at Monarki Coffee.

I waited for them before they arrived. I walked from the nearest station to this cafe. So, I was exhausted. It happened to be lunchtime.

So, I ordered a heavy meal from the cafe. I ordered a rice bowl with chicken filling.

It turned out to be quite a large portion! I even only finished half of the rice and saved it for later, hehe. I'll eat it again in a few hours :)

Besides chicken, there was also an omelette. The sauce was delicious and complemented the chicken and egg perfectly.

I also needed some caffeine energy! So I ordered a hot cappuccino at this cafe. They serve this hot coffee in a simple cup.

Luckily, the latte art made me happy, so I didn't mind the disposable cup.

The strong coffee was enough to keep me energized to meet my friends!

When Hive account@viviehardika arrived, we decided to go upstairs to the cafe before we met the rest of our friends.

Whoaaaa, this is a cityscape I haven't seen from tall buildings in a long time. I used to work in Jakarta before I got married. I used to love city views like this.

So, it's kind of nostalgic. This cafe is a great choice. ❤️ I also met my friends here.

Then, Hive account@titisnariyah came in the afternoon. It was getting dark. Before we knew it, we chatted until the evening!

We had a great time, in a great spot, and with delicious food and coffee! Yay, I felt full of energy after meeting my friends!
