Distance and time make us miss, then we create a meeting to have quality time together.
Having some friends at HIVE who is actually near where I live is one of the fun things for me. But as we become adults, meeting together in a place is not easy.
Our busy lives make it difficult for us to meet, even though we live in a city that is almost close, about 2 hours apart.
Luckily, we can use the IFTAR moment this time to meet up. We promise to do IFTAR before the month of Ramadan really ends. Finally, we decided to meet at “BLUE JARDIN COFFEE AND DINING”.
Because it was evening, I could go for a while and tell my sister to take turns looking after my mother. So, I can also take a moment to get some fresh air and meet my friends again to raise my joy and enthusiasm.
BLUE JARDIN COFFEE AND DINING
A beautiful place and looks luxurious from the moment we set foot in “Blue Jardin”. When I was just at the place, the place was already packed with visitors.
Fortunately, we had made a reservation in advance, as well as the menus that we would enjoy. So we didn't have any problem when we arrived at this place while waiting for the iftar time.
Beautiful decoration, dominated by hanging accessories from the ceiling. Starting from plants, beautiful flowers, chandeliers, as well as accessories symbolizing Muslim holidays with ketupat shapes (rice cakes served wrapped in coconut leaves and in the shape of a diamond).
In addition to the beautiful decoration, Blue Jardin also has a very luxurious fragrance in it. Dominated by exotic floral fragrances. It made me even more comfortable in this new place I visited for the first time.

IFTAR PACKAGE WITH AFFORDABLE PRICE
I have no reason to decline the invitation to IFTAR at this Bue Jardin location. In addition to being a luxurious place, the food packages for breaking the fast at that time were relatively cheap, at affordable prices, for a restaurant as big and luxurious as that.
We didn't waste that opportunity either. One package already consists of:
- sweet menu for breaking the fast, ginger tea, with mixed fruit desserts.
- main course menu and drinks, worth IDR 88K ($6.28) or one other package worth IDR 66K ($4.7).
For the main course, I chose Beef Curry Rice and drank Iced Rasberry Watermelon.
Before the main course, our order came, on our table, there was a menu available for breaking the fast. The menu is light, and it's free. There are dates, ginger tea, and mixed fruit desserts.
So even if our main course hasn't arrived yet, and it's time to break our fast, break our fast, we can enjoy these sweet treats.
When it was time to break the fast, I tasted the dates and ginger tea first. Ginger tea served by Blue Jardin has a fairly strong ginger taste and is enhanced with a sweet taste that is not dominant. I like it.
Then, our main course order arrived. For my order, I was quite surprised about the portion. That's a pretty big portion, and it's mouthwatering at the same time!
Look at the thick curry gravy. Also, the aroma that I can smell is very delicious, rich in spices.
In my opinion, the main course I ordered was yummy! Beef Curry Rice served with white rice, also with fried onions. There are no loopholes or bad things about this menu. Blue Jardin serves a special curry gravy. Also, the beef is soft textured. It was perfect for IFTAR!
Moreover, with a price of under $6.5, it is quite worthy to be a recommended dining out list. I will not forget this menu, for sure. :)
We really enjoyed our meeting that time. It was a beautiful meeting before the holidays arrived. With a beautiful place and good food, we feel happy. That's enough to recharge our life energy.
What If Apart from Ramadan?
Hmm, this is quite complicated actually. Previously I did say for the IFTAR package, but it was quite cheap. But, then I have looked through the menu book. In addition to the IFTAR package, the price is quite pricey, with a high tax of about 10-12 percent. I would rethink if I just wanted to eat at this place.
Maybe it's also part of their marketing strategy to offer cheap IFTAR packages, but their daily menu is quite pricey. But it makes quite a bit of sense if you think about it more deeply. Because the design of the place offered by Blue Jardin looks classy, luxurious, and makes visitors comfortable.
But if I also want to get involved in decorating a place that is fun, spacious, and has an outdoor area, then the price is not an issue. It depends on what the customer needs.
