Eid is being celebrated throughout the world so yummy dishes are being cooked and served as well. ladies are having a tough time in the kitchen. In my scenario guests; messy kitchen; cleaning and then preparing delicious dishes is a tough task hehe. I don't exist full time in the kitchen but now at this festive function I am compelled to show my talent in cooking so here is a tasty dish.
Peshawari Namkeen gosht;
Ingredients;
Beef or mutton it's up to your choice; 1 ig
- Butter; 4 tablespoon
- Black pepper; 2 tablespoon
- Salt; 2 tablespoon
- Cumin;1 tablespoon
- Ginger paste; 1 tablespoon
- Garlic paste; 1 tablespoon
- Also, we will need them for garnishing
- Coriander;1 tablespoon
- Onion; 1 chopped finely
- Green chili; 2-3 for garnishing
Procedure;
- Firstly melt the butter and then add the beef or mutton.
- Once its color turns white add ginger and garlic paste.
- Mix well then add salt; black pepper: cumin; dried coriander.
- Add the chopped onions and mix them well.
Add 2 glasses of water and bring the flame to medium. It will boil in 10-15 minutes. - Take off the cover and you will notice that it started to become thick.
If you want to eat the gravy then it's ready. - But in case you want to eat it in fried form, cook it for more than 10 minutes.
- Dish out and garnish it with green chili and garlic.
It's originally prepared in Peshawar and is prepared in fats but because of higher calories, you must burn these calories. Also, don't forget to have green tea with honey and lemon.
