I woke at the wee hour of today with eyes blazing for Mother Earth-flavored dish. I gulped hard thinking what could satisfy this hunger and... My favorite thought came in;
Catfish!
Giggling endlessly I knew I had to fulfill this need seeing how I stressed myself some weeks ago. I deserve this. So, I went for it.
I went to the market and got two catfish because I love them, especially when I knew what I was using them for. Yeah, catfish pepper soup. It goes with the weather which is super great for my health.
The price used to get the ingredients and the fish was $7. And with this, I was able to satisfy my need.
The ingredients used were;
•A cube of knorr chicken Maggi
•Tablespoon of salt.
•Scent leave.
•Pepper soup spicy.
•Ginger
•Pepper
•Onion
Mode of preparation;
After putting the fish in a bowl, I had to boil water In a kettle to use in peeling off some dirt from the fish after washing them.
This is the fish neatly cleaned before pouring hot water on it.
After that, I poured the hot water and cleaned off the dirt. The water should have some whitish stuff In it to show the dirt is off.
Right here, another gigantic step was taken. We have salt, Maggi, and pepper soup spicy in a bowl, ready to be called to action. And, will they? Carry on to know more.
Here we have a picture showing the pepper, onion, and ginger blended, and they look damn beautiful. Don't you think?
The next picture shows the scent leave to be used. I had them cut down into fine-loving pieces to give the dish a nice heartwarming aroma that makes your neighbor think of saying Hi every second.
The next part shows the beginning of our journey to tranquility. I had some water put in a pot and boiled before pouring in the well-blended fine piece of pepper, ginger, and onion.
I added the fish after the peppered water was boiled to some degree, then I added Maggi, salt, and pepper soup spicy before putting in the fish.
Oh, what happened next? Yeah. I covered the pot and allowed the ed the fish to boil for some minutes before adding the scent leave which called the action of every passerby. I am not exaggerating. 🙄
And the last step taken was the dishing of the well-prepared, garnished high valued catfish pepper soup.
The last part of it ended in my stomach cos I savored each moment spent eating every inch of it. Hehe. It was superb.
Still yours truly,
Balikis.
