Hi Everyone,
Have you tried eating this before?
(binagoong rice)
It's been over a month since typhoon Odette wreaked havoc on Cebu. Things are mostly back to normal, but some areas need to be repaired, and electricity needs to be restored, among other things. Restaurants and shopping malls have resumed their regular operating hours. Along the harbor of South Road properties, you'll find II Curso. Before the typhoon wreaked devastation in December 2021, I visited this location. I'd say it's really excellent and racked up. After Odette, it's nice to know that the owners decided to open their restaurant. It's nice to have wonderful places to relax and unwind.
Many new restaurants have debuted, but one in particular has struck my eye which is SUTUKIL. Not because of the name, which is obviously well-known, but because of the delectable cuisine options available on their menu. Sum up all of my personal favorites. They made a terrific first impression.
I decided to look into it further. I could be in for a pleasant surprise. Getting ready to line up. I've made a list of the ones I'd like to order. Grilled pork belly, shrimps and scallops are among the items on the menu. Regrettably, none of them are available because I came when they are about to close. But, because I was already there, I decided to try one of their other menus. So I ordered Tuna panga, lechon kawali, and the traditional Suglaw. I had their binagoongang rice, which was delicious. I ordered a plate because I was hungry and exhausted.
The waiting time was pretty intense. It took me around 30-45 minutes to fully immerse myself in my culinary universe. Although I was sad that my preferred items were not available, the food that was served was delicious. At the conclusion of the day, my stomach is satisfied and my wallet has been depleted by less than a thousand pesos. It's not bad.
Sutukil is a great place to go if you want to try some seafood. If you're looking for something different, Il Corso has a variety of restaurants to choose from. To make a decision, all you have to do is look for yourself. I'm sure you'll like not only the meal, but the entire experience and landscape.
Let me know your Il Corso experienced if you have one!
