Double Date 👩❤️👨 & 👩❤️👨
This evening 
Hive account@flowerbaby had plans for her and I to meet her friend Gretchen & her man Stephen at Pies & Pints for dinner. I was more than happy to hang out with some other people since it’s usually just Hive account@flowerbaby and I doing things together. Something new and exciting is always welcomed, especially when there is pizza and beer involved. I had met Gretchen a few times before and she is a very nice girl. I’d be a terrible boyfriend if I said no to the double date. Luckily the meetup spot was within walking distance for us, so that made things even easier.
Pizza 🍕
Hive account@flowerbaby and I ordered a large half and half pizza. Her side was the mozzarella caprese (with chicken) and mine was the classic. We both had ordered our choices many times before and we knew it was about to be a good meal. The pizza came out in a relatively short amount of time and it was delicious. We only finished half of it and saved the rest for lunch tomorrow.
Beer 🍻
I usually don’t drink much alcohol these days, but I decided to have a few brews with this meal. It was a great decision and I had two very tasty beers with my pizza. The first was the Fantastic Haze - by: Sierra Nevada and I had it finished before the pizza even came out. My second choice was The Loud - by: Bad Shepherd, which I can always trust to be amazing since I’ve had it many times before at Black Sheep.
How did the date go ⁉️
Honestly I had a great time and enjoyed spending the evening with a cool couple. Hive account@flowerbaby was nervous when they first arrived, since it was our first time meeting Stephen. She calmed down quickly and we both felt comfortable in no time. Luckily Stephen was very personable and wasn’t uptight at all. He understands how to carry on a conversation, I don’t think there was a moment of silence the entire outing.
I’m always thrilled when I’m able to be myself and crack silly jokes. I’m the type that either you will hate or love me, I don’t put up a facade. I’d like to think the two of them enjoyed spending some time with Hive account@flowerbaby and I, we are a couple of weirdos who enjoy being funky together. I’d be happy to go on another double date with Gretchen and Stephen again in the future.
