Try to make another variant of steamed pumpkin preparations, I tried a new recipe for an afternoon snack. Ongol-Ongol and Pumpkin Juice can be variations on the pumpkin menu so that it is not boring, it is also delicious and sweet.
This is my first creation to make a cake-shaped snack. The ingredients needed are also easy, I bought them from Indonesian Shop, which is in a market near where I live.
Materials needed are:
• 250 grams of pumpkin that has been steamed (remove the seeds)
• 100 grams of sugar (can be adjusted to taste)
• 250 ML coconut milk
• 150 grams Tapioca Flour
• A pinch of salt
• A pinch of vanilla
How to make
• Preheat the steamer first, prepare a heat-resistant container then add oil so that it won't stick later.
• Mix all the ingredients. Then blend until smooth
• Pour the dough into a heat-resistant container
• Steam the dough for 20 minutes until cooked
• Remove and cool
• Cut into pieces, then coat with grated coconut
• Ready to be served.
As for the pumpkin juice itself, the same comes from steamed pumpkin that has been peeled and seeds removed.
Ingredients needed to make pumpkin juice:
• Steamed pumpkin
• Red apple
All ingredients are combined and then blended. Slice the apple into small pieces for topping. If you want the juice to be sweeter, you can add sugar or honey. Based on your taste.
This pumpkin preparation is perfect for serving in the afternoon when you are relaxed, or in the morning at breakfast. Pumpkin contains vitamins that are beneficial for the body such as: Losing weight, improving digestion, reducing the risk of cancer, maintaining eye health, maintaining heart health, maintaining healthy brain function, increasing endurance, and improving sleep quality.
