Unlike in Indonesia, Churros are used as light snacks that have a savory and crunchy taste on the outside which is very suitable to accompany your relaxing day at home. The way to make it is also very easy with ingredients that are also easy to find in minimarkets or grocery stalls and this time I will share the recipe, let's look at the ingredients.
Dough Ingredients
7 tbsp wheat flour
150 ml liquid milk/ water
1 pack of Milo (optional)
1 egg
1 tbsp Sugar
4 tbsp margarine/butter
1/2 vanilla extract
Chocolate Sauce Ingredients
70 gram Chocolate bar (DCC)
100 ml Liquid Milk
1 tbsp margarine
How to make
First, prepare a non-stick pan, then add the liquid milk, margarine and sugar. Cook over low heat until melted margarine is well mixed and boils. Lift.
Second, add the flour, milo powder and vanilla extract, then stir quickly until the dough is smooth and does not clump. Let stand a few moments until warm.
Third, add the eggs and mix again until the dough is smooth, the texture is not soggy and not too dense.
Fourth, prepare a piping bag / plastic triangle, insert the churros mold then add the plastic end scissors dough.
Fifth, fry the churros in hot oil over low heat so they don't burn quickly, fry until the churros are cooked, remove and drain.
How to Make Chocolate Sauce
Prepare a pan and add liquid milk, margarine, and chocolate bars. cook until thickened.
