Hello to another story of the food that I consumed for this week. For today's article, I will show you the food that we ordered at Causeway. Causeway, is a seafood Chinese Restaurant, located in Banawe Quezon City. The estimated price is Php1200 for two people already. Below are the foods we ordered.
Egg Tart
This egg tart is filled with awesomeness tastes that I cannot explain. It tastes so good. It is a creamier version of leche plan and egg pie. I suggest you eat this after all the meal because it could make you feel full.
Prawn Salad
Prawn Salad taste like you are a newly graduate. That is I specifically felt after eating it. The mayo, the fruits and the prawn are good combination of the food that makes you feel happy. It compliments each other. I also suggest you to taste this one after a meal. It is a small serving but it can make your feel full too.
Garlic Buttered Crab
If you are with history of high cholesterol, even dipping the crab meat in a vinegar will not help you. You need to eat it in moderation. It was quite a challenge for me to eat this. I don't know if I am high in cholesterol but I felt my nape get hotter after eating the half of the crab's meat. This is the best tasting Garlic Buttered Crab!! The butter, the smell, the garlic and the meat itself. The flavors are all stuck in the meat. It taste sooooogood!!
Cold Cuts
I am not a fan of century egg. Yes, I am not a fan of century egg so I cannot describe the taste, yet some of the cold cuts are good tasting. It is soft, especially the lechon kawali on the side.
Chinese Birthday Noodles
At first I thought it was chopsuey, but it's not. This birthday noodles is perfect!! It has large servings and full of ingredients. It is good to consume while hot because of the thick sauce.
Bun
I missed the name of this one but it is a bun with sesame seed. It tastes good. It was served hot. I didn't eat rice, I ate this instead, while eating garlic buttered crab. It is a perfect alternate for rice.
Steamed Shrimp
Last but not the least, the Steamed Shrimp. It taste fresh shrimp with little sweetness. It is crunchy and sweet. If you want a best tasting shrimp and seafood, you should visit Causeway. It is perfect if you dip it in the sauce.
Staying at Causeway and having these foods makes me feel my salary is worth it!! It is one of the best tasting meal i ever tasted. The shrimps are fresh. The ambiance is good and the smell of the food, makes you want to order more. I will definitely come back.
