Hive friends where happy this time I will make a snack, called Croquette. This one snack food is well known every where.
In some Countries these food will difference in name and content,but the kind may be the some there is flour to roll and there is a filling.
In Indonesia the name Kroket is eaten any time as a snack food. Usually eaten when to break the fast, as I did this time, there were not many Croquettes filled with vermivelli and carrots.
Ingredients for the filling of kroket such as.
2 * shallots,thinly sliced
2 * garlic cloves,thinly sliced
2 * garlic cloves thinly sliced
1/2shet of vermicelli
1 * carrot,thinly sliced
1 * leek ,sliced,sugar,salt,to taste
1/2 spoon of sweet soy sauce,cooking oil to taste.
Leather for rolling croquettes so I bought in the market.
The ,first step,soaked vermicelli in hot water and let stand.
Second step thinly sliced shallot,garlic,green onions,sliced carrots,and washed.
Thethird step prepare a frying pan and pour cokking oil for sauteing.
Fourths step saute the spices until fragrant, add the carrots, wait a few minutes .
Then add the vermicelli,add salt,sugar,soy sauce and flavoting, give a little water,wait until cooked,drain after cooking.
The fitht step prepare the skin of the kroket and fill with the kroket spices. Then oil then stick skins of the kroket.
I use flour and add a littel water. The final step is to fry the kroket/croquettes, prepare the frying pan, heat the cooking oil,after the oil is hot. Put the kroket one by one and then back and forts until the look a little brown and lifted,the kroket can be eaten with chili sauce or cayenne pepper. Thank you.
