According to history, Awug is a typical Sundanese snacks from remote areas. This food is usually made by local people when the harvest is over.
The raw material of rice flour comes from. With its development it can be combined with rice flour and glutinous flour, the type and share also follows the taste and the awug cake has become a traditional.
The basic ingredient of the Awug cake are glutinous rice flour and rice flour with a very taste, the texture is chewy and soft, because of the popularity of this cake, we can easily find it.
I will make the awug cake myself in a simple and practical way. I don't use a lot of ingredient because it's for the family to eat.
Ingredient for making a with cakes such as,
- 60 gram of rice flour
- 60 gram glutinous rice flour
- 1/2 coconut has been gralet
- 1/2 tea spoon salt
- 1/2 tea spoon vanila powder
- 40 gram of brown sugar cut into small picces.
The process of making awug step
Step 1, prepare a rather large container then enter the glutinous rice flour,add rice flour,add grated coconut,salt,vanila powder,then stir until well blended and looks messy.
,Step 2, after the mixture is flat and fused,the dough is ready to be put into the mold, put the dough in the container while pressing lightly, then in the middle,add brown sugar.
Step 3, the steaming process, prepare a steaming pan,enter the dough that has been entered in the print them enter if into the steaming pan. Steaming time is about 20 minute, lift it and place it on a plate or other place.
