Hello, Hivers! Another day, another food blog again. Hahaha! I've been working so hard the past few days so I totally deserve this Samgyupsal date with my close friend, Nolen.
I only have one rest day at work which falls on a Sunday and I always make sure to spend it productively. Sometimes I spend it in our province in Argao, Cebu, Philippines and sometimes here in the city. After I finished doing all the important things that I had to do in our apartment, I tried to message my Tara G friends who's free and up for a Samgyupsal date. Most of them have prior commitments already and only Nolen was available this time but we still push through with the dinner.
I've tried a couple of Samgyupsal branches here in Cebu and this time we both agreed to try at Samgyupsalamat in Mandaue branch. Samgyupsalamat is an original unlimited Korean BBQ restaurant which is popular here in Cebu, Philippines. This branch is exactly located at Unit #2 A2 Jamestown, Mantawi International Drive NRA, Mandaue City, Philippines. It was a good decision that we came here early because there were a lot of customers that day.I've actually tried their other branches, but it is my first time in this branch.
In the last photo, I got the price list from their facebook page since I was also checking how much is their unlimited samgyup and the different kinds of meat for us to try. For Php 549.00 we already tasted their unlimited Samgupsal with lots of meat to choose from. Rice, side dishes and soup are also unlimited. There's free iced tea and cheese included at the rate of Php 549.00 per head . It was so worth it and I super love their meats. Their staff are very attentive and accommodating.
Nolen and I take turns in grilling the meat. While doing this, we had a great conversation about life, work, future plans and business. I am so blessed to have Nolen in my life. She's always the type of friend who motivates me to dream big. She's that kind of friend who's always with me through ups and downs. The conversation and dinner date we had is a memory worth keeping. Cheers to more moments like this.
How about you? How do you usually spend your rest days? I'd be glad to hear those.:)
That's it for today's Rejourney. I will see you all on my next one. Much love from your Inspiring Cebuana. Stay safe!
