Hello, everyone.😀 How are you guys doin'? For today's Rejourney , I'm gonna be taking you on a foodtrip here in Cebu City, Philippines.🥘 My friends and I decided to eat our dinner together and had some dessert afterwards.
SIOMAI SA TISA
Siomai sa Tisa was originated and sold in Tisa, Cebu City, Philippines. This is an all-time favorite Cebuano local dish that's recognizably different compared to other commercially available siomai’s sold elsewhere.
When you are craving for some "siomai" , you could actually head on to Tisa, Cebu City to satisfy your cravings.😍 Once you are already in Brgy. Tisa, Cebu City, there are a lot of siomai stores that you could choose from. Me and my friends chose to dine at Kuya Jeff's Siomayan.
The crew right here is taking our orders. Kuya Jeff's Siomayan is one of the best go-to place here in Tisa when it comes to Siomai.😍
Aside from the "siomai" that has been sold here. You could also have some other food to choose from. Here's their updated price list to give you an idea of their other menus.
Siomai sa Tisa is best when paired with "puso" or in English term "hanging rice." In the Philippines, puso is rice wrapped and boiled in a triangular casing made of woven coconut leaves.
This foodtrip is more meaningful because I got to spend it with my close friends. With the adulting stage that we are in now, I'm happy that during this time, our schedules aligned.😀 That's Dianah and Paul with me in this foodtrip.
There are also some group of friends, couples and even families that enjoyed the Siomai sa Tisa at Kuya Jeff's Siomayan.😃
TIME FOR SOME DESSERT
After we had our dinner at Siomai sa Tisa, we headed to 13th Avenue Tea House to grab some milktea. This milktea station is situated in Katipunan St., Labangon, Cebu City, Philippines.
There are a lot of flavors to choose from here at 13th Avenue Tea House. Since I love chocolate flavor so much, I ordered dark chocolate in small size from them. I had an amazing conversation with my friends right here while we were enjoying our milk teas.
This tea house has an instagrammable interior.😍 I also loved the time that we were here because it wasn't that crowded and we enjoyed each other's company so much.
Cebu, Philippines has a lot of great spots to offer when it comes to food. I hope you guys enjoyed this food trip and I'll see you all on my next Rejourney. 😀
