Hi food buddies here in hive!
How's your day?? I hope that we're all doing fine...
Today I'm going to cook "Maruya" for merienda/snack, it's main ingredients is ripe Saba (banana). This kind of banana is delicious, nutritious , affordable and easy to find in the market here in Philippines.
Here are the ingredients:
| 4 Large | Saba, Peel and cut in half vertically |
| 1/4 Cup | All Purpose Flour |
| 1/4 + 1/8 Cups | Water |
| pinch | Salt |
| 1/2 Cup | Cooking Oil |
And we're done! As we can see there is only 3 banana fritters left because the 1st cooked fritters is already eaten by my apprentice, I mean my youngest daughter. She is always watching me cook and she said that she will just do a taste test. She gives me a thumbs up and a kiss. I think I did a great job.
This banana fritters have no sugar added because the ripe bananas are already sweet. Ideal snack for kids and adult who are into less-sugar diet.
