This is red snapper that I caught myself, we cook it by grilling it half-baked using some ground spices, which we smear just before the fish is cooked over the coals.
As far as I remember, it's been a month since we didn't do any activities together with my wife to cook together.
For the past two weeks I've really been chased by some schedules. Even on weekends, I also have to be in front of the laptop for zoom meetings and finish some things that need to be done soon. I really got it all done. Even before the deadline. That is a satisfaction in itself.
I want to celebrate it a little and the person who deserves and most deserves to celebrate is my wife. He has understandingly given up my time that should be with him.
Without waiting for my approval, he said there was still a red snapper in the freezer. It was the result of my fishing trip on my last fishing trip a month ago. Apparently, various activities have kept me from going out to fish for the past month.
My wife always asks me to grill the fish, it's a commanding request. She really doesn't like smoke, but she really likes my grilled fish.
After we both finished our grilled fish,
my wife said, "the fish was the last one".
"Yes, I know," I replied.
Then she asked, "Honey, when are you planning to go fishing again?"
I'm excited about the question.
