The word "efo riro" was actually derived from the Yoruba language part in Nigeria...the " Efo" means ”Green leafy vegetable” or a ”spinach”, and the word "riro" means ”to stir”.....
So basically what it means is that "efo riro" means ”stirred leafy vegetable”. ...
However,the stirring is not done by itself, we make sure that it is actually stirred in a rich pepper sauce which is also really loaded with alot of Meat, lovely Crayfish, Dry Fish, and also other type of meat or Fish which you love

Make sure you Get all your ingredients which includes : The boiled Meat,your Fish, your turkey, good Chicken or any other choice of protein which you will prefer....

Actually heat up my Oil a bit. I do not really like bleaching palm Oil so I always prefer to simply add the Onion when I have seen that the Oil is hot and also while I make sure the Onion is cooking in the Oil, same way the palm oil too is also cooking..and that really does the great trick for me.
The next step is to FRY the blended peppers: oh my GOD how I actually wish the computer has the great function to really show my emotions right now– because even emoticons are not really strong enough for me to actually show the type of emphasis which I am actually talking about...lol
:). My emphasis is on the "FRY"…
You actually need to ensure that you fry till all the water present in the sauce evaporates and that the sauce is reduced... You need to please remember to pay great attention to the sauce, because you do not really want it to actually get burnt, so you need to be really sure that you stir constantly till you are able to achieve that thick consistency.
Make sure you season and also add the Meat and also the Spinach: The sauce should also be seasoned at this point and should be done with all those nice spices and nice condiments.
Add the Meat, the Stockfish, and also the dried Prawns or your other choice of protein which you will prefer.... Make sure you let it cook so that it can be able to absorb all the yumminess and sweetness of the sauce. Then, stir in the spinach.
Finally: make sure that you actually adjust the seasoning if there is really a need to...and also ensure you Remove it from heat and serve it...
