This is the popular creamed or sweetened banana which is perfect for dessert, served hot or chilled. Will be presenting to you a good for 8-10 servings, so let's start!
Ingredients:
- A bunch of banana
- 390g of condensed milk
- 370ml evaporated milk
- 1 all-purpose cream
- cheese
- butter
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Avoid using raw bananas for it'll be too hard to eat once getting chilled while over riped bananas would give off a bit of sour taste.
Use a cauldron that could fit all the bananas and would still enable the lid to cover it fully. Pour enough water that would level to the banana's elevation peak.
Set the heat to its mild level and cooking time would take about 20 - 30 minutes depending on the amount of bananas and the level of heat applied. You can use a stick to test if its cook.
While waiting for the bananas to cook, prepare the other ingredients.
Measure 2 tbsp of cornstarch and put it in a cup.
Add 1 cup of evaporated milk into the cornstarch. Don't worry if you think you may added more or less of it, it won't matter for it'll be just for the finishing touch. The mixture is to make your cream creamier.
This is what it looks like. I just pour it based on my preferred amount. Then set aside the mixture for it'll be used later.
Now, the banana is cooked. Remove the excess water left in the cauldron for faster cooling. Now, you can start peeling off the bananas and put it on a plate you desired to use for dessert plating.
Now take a deep pan to be used for heating our next mixture. Pour the evaporated milk, all-purpose cream, and the condensed milk into the pan. I prefer to use only 3/4 of the condensed milk just to make sure that the sweetness will be within my sugar level.
Now let's apply heat to the pan using medium heat level until it simmer. Don't forget to stir once in a while.
After 10-15 minutes, this is how should the mixture of cream and milk looks like. Now it's time to adjust to low heat level to avoid it from turning to brown or getting burned.
Remember the first mixture that we set aside? Now stir it well and make sure that the cornstarch is totally diluted with the milk. Add it to our simmered cream and use a strainer to make sure that undissolved mixture will not be added.
Then stir it again for 3-5 minutes to cook the cornstarch mixture and don't stop stirring to avoid it from sticking onto the pan and getting burned.
Now it's time to add the butter. Stir it well for another 2 minutes.
After the duration have passed, it's now time to pour our mixture onto our peeled bananas arranged on a plate.
Be extra careful for it's still hot and creamy mixtures tend to cool off longer.
After pouring all our mixture.
It's now time to add our cheese. Grate it and sprinkle evenly.
Our finished product! Creamed bananas overloaded with cheese.
Now it's ready to serve, per piece.
I prefer to eat it in slices, using my spoon, to chill it faster.
Happy eating! 🤤😊
As I'm so in love with photography and already had have various collections of #animals , #nature , #plants , #foods , #travel , #sunsets , #sunrise , and so much more, I want to share all of them for the world to see how so blessed we are to still have the chance to get hold of them and take a good look at them. We may have seen them everyday but what's the great things when it comes to God's creation was that it stays unique on each of every days.
I hope to see one of yours and it will be my pleasure to upvote it once seen worthy. 😍🥰
