Good morning dear friends of Hive, as they say here in my land, you have to give the body what it asks for and these days I was craving to eat a sweet that was really delicious, quick to prepare and not so expensive, so I thought of making a quesillo that my mother prepared and had a long time without trying. I really like the quesillo de leche, it does not have condensed milk but powdered milk and the rest of the ingredients that are commonly used in the preparation of this delicious sweet. So without further ado, let's go with the necessary amounts of ingredients for its preparation.
- 2 Tazas de Leche en polvo.
-Un vaso de agua. - 6 Huevos.
- Vainilla.
- 1 Copita de ron.
- Taza y media de azúcar para el quesillo.
- Taza y media de azúcar para el caramelo.
- 2 cups of powdered milk.
-A glass of water. - 6 eggs.
- Vanilla.
- 1 cup of rum.
- Cup and a half of sugar for the quesillo.
- Cup and a half of sugar for the caramel.
Preparación
Lo primero es preparar el caramelo,. Para ello llevamos a la cocina nuestra quesillera con taza y media de azúcar y dejamos que nuestro caramelo vaya formándose, esto tardará unos 5 minutos hasta que el azúcar tome su color característico marrón. Apagamos y cubrimos todo el interior de la quesillera. Dejamos enfriar a temperatura ambiente.
The first thing is to prepare the caramel. For it we take to the kitchen our quesillera with cup and a half of sugar and we let our caramel go forming, this will take about 5 minutes until the sugar takes its characteristic brown color. We turn off and cover the whole inside of the cheesecake maker. Let it cool down to room temperature.
Tomamos la licuadora colocamos el agua, encendemos y vamos a agregar uno a uno todos los ingredientes de nuestro quesillo, añadimos las tazas de leche en polvo, el azúcar, los huevos, la vainilla y el ron, dejamos batir unos segundos, apagamos y vaciamos la mezcla en la quesillera que ya debe estar totalmente frío y endurecido el caramelo.
Take the blender, add the water, turn it on and add one by one all the ingredients of our quesillo, add the cups of powdered milk, the sugar, the eggs, the vanilla and the rum, let it beat for a few seconds, turn it off and pour the mixture into the quesillera, which should already be completely cold and the caramel hardened.
Tapamos la quesillera y en una olla grande cocinamos nuestro quesillo a baño de María por unos 45 minutos.
We cover the quesillera and in a large pot we cook our quesillo in a bain-marie for about 45 minutes.
Apagamos y verificamos que el quesillo está listo, introduciendo un palillo o cuchillo y que este salga seco. Dejamos enfriar un poco.
Turn off and verify that the quesillo is ready by inserting a toothpick or knife and it comes out dry. Let it cool a little.
Desmoldamos y tenemos un postre demasiado rico que se que no durará mucho en casa porque es una adicción muy rico de verdad y como dije un dulce económico y fácil de preparar.
Unmold and we have a delicious dessert that I know will not last long at home because it is really delicious and as I said an economical and easy to prepare sweet.
