Feliz y bendecido día amigos en @foodiesbeehive. Les comento que este fin de semana tuve un compromiso muy importante en la iglesia ya que se celebraba el bautizo del Señor, me correspondía organizar la misa y todo lo que ella implica: ofrenda, lecturas, decoración y se me ocurre que debía llevar algo para compartir al final con los niños y personas más allegadas, mi esposo pensó en unos sándwich pero como en todo bautizo hay torta yo me fui por preparar mi rica torta de chocolate que tengo como dos años sin hacer pero es muy rendidora y deliciosa, a todos encanta. Así que me fui a comprar lo que necesitaba para hacerla.

I was in charge of organizing the mass and everything that goes with it: offerings, readings, decorations, and it occurred to me that I should bring something to share with the children and those closest to me at the end. My husband thought of sandwiches, but since every baptism has cake, I decided to make my delicious chocolate cake, which I haven't made in about two years, but it's very filling and delicious, and everyone loves it. So I went to buy what I needed to make it.

- 500 gr de Mantequilla. - 4 Tazas de azúcar. - 8 Huevos. - ! taza de Leche líquida. - 1 Taza de café bien puro. - 100 gr de Cacao en polvo. - 7 Tazas de harina de trigo leudante. - 1 cucharadita de vainilla. - Polvo de hornear.

- 500 g butter. - 4 cups sugar. - 8 eggs. - 1 cup milk. - 1 cup strong coffee. - 100 g cocoa powder. - 7 cups self-rising wheat flour. - 1 teaspoon vanilla. - Baking powder.

Comenzamos preparando la bandeja con mantequilla y harina de trigo, encender el horno para precalentar y cernir la harina de trigo y mezclar con el cacao. Reservar.

Start by preparing the baking tray with butter and wheat flour, preheat the oven, sift the wheat flour, and mix with the cocoa. Set aside.

Nos vamos a la batidora y colocamos la mantequilla con el azúcar y batimos hasta cremar bien, para luego arreglar los huevos y batir por unos 4 minutos a velocidad alta.

Place the butter and sugar in a mixer and beat until creamy, then add the eggs and beat for about 4 minutes on high speed.

Pasamos entonces a agregar la harina con el cacao intercalando con la leche y el café, mezclamos bien con paleta de madera agregamos la vainilla y el polvo de hornear, mezclamos bien y luego llevamos al horno por 1 hora.

Next, add the flour and cocoa powder, alternating with the milk and coffee. Mix well with a wooden spoon, add the vanilla and baking powder, mix well, and then bake for 1 hour.

Para decorar tomé tres claras de huevo las pese y tome en azúcar el doble del peso de las claras y las lleve a la hornilla con agua hasta cubrirla ligeramente, dejé cocinar hasta formar un caramelo ligero. Luego batir a velocidad alta las claras cuando estuvo a punto de nieve comencé a agregar el caramelo hasta formar puntos.

To decorate, I took three egg whites, weighed them, and took twice their weight in sugar. I put them on the stove with water until they were lightly covered, and let them cook until they formed a light caramel. Then I beat the egg whites on high speed until they were stiff, and began to add the caramel until it formed peaks.

Decoré toda de blanco la torta ya que el blanco representa pureza, santidad y amor puro.

I decorated the whole cake in white, as white represents purity, holiness, and pure love.

La torta fue todo un éxito todos querían y no quedó para probarla nosotros, pero todos decía lo rica que estaba, nada como hacer las cosas con amor y una torta siempre es el regalo perfecto para consentir a nuestros familiares y amigos. Ahora como algunas personas que me ayudaron en la organización de la misa quedaron sin probarla debo hacer otra igual para darles a probar, jajaja. The cake was a huge success—everyone wanted some, and there wasn't any left for us to try, but everyone said how delicious it was. There's nothing like doing things with love, and a cake is always the perfect gift to spoil our family and friends. Now, since some of the people who helped me organize the mass didn't get to try it, I'll have to make another one just for them, ha ha ha.
